I have a Dell Optiplex 745 Desktop case (not the minitower) will this card fit?

I believe this model(optiplex 745) comes in 4 form factors, desktop, mini tower, and small form factor, and ultra small form factor. I have only installed this in the small form factor. WARNING this does not fit in sff unless the chassis and card are both seriously modified. I have not installed on a desktop ff. However after looking at the dimensions on dells website the desktop is slightly larger than the sff, and I think it would fit no problem, using the sff/lp bracket.

Will this work with a asus 970 pro gaming/aura atx ddr3 am3 motherboard

Is this card a low profile card?

It's definitely a low profile, dual slot card. We install these in Optiplex 5040 SFF systems that only take low profile cards.

How much power does it require?

275w recommended psu, card uses 75w powered by pci slot.
