PENHALIGON'S The Coveted Duchess Rose Eau De Parfum Spray For Women, 75 ml

I smelled this back in January on a trip to EPCOT and couldn't stop thinking about it, so after months of having it on my mind, I made the splurge and bought it for myself as a wedding gift. This is a rose perfume unlike any other. The rose absolute is exquisite and not too common in many perfumes because it is such an expensive oil. This is a richer, more mature rose scent. The closest thing to it I am familiar with is LUSH's rose argan bar soap or Rose Jam shower gel, which are also quite pricey due to their use of Rose Absolute. This perfume recently went up in MSRP from $250 to $270, so if you can get it for $250 anywhere still, it's worth it. I got mine from Lucky Scent; I researched a bit to make sure this company sells legit product. I have no complaints with my bottle although the requirement for sending via ground (because it's a liquid) meant it came via UPS and obviously spent some time in a very hot van... when my perfume arrived the label had began to peel off the bottle and will no longer stick to it. It's not a big thing but of course for a $250 bottle of perfume, I would have liked it to be flawless. Overall this perfume is magnificent and worth the splurge if you've smelled it and love it. I've looked for other rose perfumes similar to this and it's difficult to find a match. If you're looking for something close, check out Kate Spade In Full Bloom Blush. The scent doesn't last as long but it has the rose and woodsy notes that make the coveted duchess rose so unique and gorgeous.
