After much deliberation and a lot of research, this was the perfect option. Easy to set up and a classy bit of a equipment. I didn’t realise how bad my other player was! You won’t be disappointed with this purchase. Review: I love this turntable - I am glad I purchased this when I did because they don't seem to be manufacturing it at the moment. Perhaps this is covid-related or perhaps it has been discontinued. Either would be a shame, because this turntable punches WAY above it's weight class. I have owned it for several months now and I am still delighted with it. It is a belt-driven, fully-automatic model that is also upgradeable. It seems to slide in between the LP60 variants and the LP120s, and in many ways combines the best features of both models. There is no USB or Bluetooth, but I regard those features as superfluous nonsense anyway. It does include both a switchable pre-amp and a second switch that allows you to choose between a moving-magnet or moving-coil cartridge. The headshell is removeable, for easier mounting of a cartridge or allowing you to purchase an additional one to rapidly switch between different cartridges. Just make sure that if you do purchase additional headshells that you buy an angled model as the tone arm is completely straight. The only thing I would change is that the RCA and ground cables are permanently attached so there is no opportunity to upgrade the RCA connections. Perhaps one day I will move to a higher-end turntable, but I expect to use the LP3 for years as it has exceeded my every expectation. EDIT: A year later and I am still delighted. I replaced the belt and also tried the speed adjustment screw underneath the unit. But after several attempts, the speed never got below 34 1/2. And more than once it even shot up to over 80 rpm!
