I have a MIXED GRADE of hair (African American & Caucasian) and even though I wear it short, it's thick and there's alot of it. I try not to weight it down with heavy oils and greases, but this type of hair requires a certain amount of that to function, and I do not wash my hair daily. Whenever I would wash my hair, it seemed like it was still never really clean and the build up from product or even just my dry/oily scalp would still be VISIBLE in my hair after several shampoos/conditioning and even blowing it dry. So when I ran across this and smelled it.... I immediately took it home to try because it smelled sooo good to me. It reminded me of the soap & shampoo they provide at Westin Hotel in Buckhead... just very clean and calming. I only had to shampoo my hair ONCE and was sooo clean it literally was squeaking! I'm not just saying that.. when I rubbed my hair .. it literally made a noise! Mind you, before I tried this... I was using Apple Cider Vinegar on my hair and that was not working and even though the smell would go away, it was just not a good process and seemed messy to me.
