Unfortunately, the unit delivered to me looked like it has been used before or it might be a unit returned by some other buyer. Anyways, being very excited I plugged in it my car (BMW 330i). It took forever for the unit to boot and once it booted the screen was half missing/stuck. I selected the Auto VIN option and the unit made some clicking sounds and completely got stuck. At this point, I kept waiting for the unit to respond and when it didn't I unplugged it and tried to start the car. The car now had no crank, I got really scared and kept trying to start my car but unfortunately, there was no crank. Out of options, I had to send my car on recovery to a garage. The garage informed me that the main fuse was blown and there weren't able to figure out the reason. But I knew the reason was the scanner. Please don't buy this unit and it might even damage the car ECU. I was lucky that I ended up paying for recovery and fuse replacement charges only.
