If it provides any soundproofing then it’s minimal if none at all. **Q: Will it work with Grandboard that is 22 inches total in diameter? I am assuming it would tuck behind the edges of the grandbaord S3.** A: That's an interesting idea. I know that it fit snuggly around my board and uses the board to hold it in place. You'd have to devise something to hold the surround to the wall directly or glue it to the back of the board. However, this will put the dartboard further away from the wall so you will have to devise a way for the board to no accommodate this distance difference. Easy to install and is thick enough, however I do recommend pulling it off the wall a little so you have that extra thickness before it hits your drywall. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not only works but looks brilliant *by A***P on 23 July 2023* Brilliant bit of kit. Protects the wall around the board better than the normal Dartboard surrounds. I have a Winmau Blade 6 PDC board which needed the extra liner for a tight fit otherwise the Defender surround moves around. I then “fixed” the Defender surround using 3M picture strips at the bottom - so this is as fixed as you can get it. I then put my original Blade 6 surround on as it gives it a really nice finish.
