I understand that there was a problem with the cut-outs in the headphone jack and microphone not aligning with the Key2. Have those been fixed yet?

No problem in mine purchased in March 2019

Why am i having a hard time getting the charger plug to fit thru the cutout when the cover is on the phone?

Not all cords are made the same, I would recommend another cord from a different manufacturer.

Is the edge thick enough that you can put it face down without the screen or keys touching the surface?

Yes. This case featuring raised edges to protect the front screen or rear camera when place facing down.

It's normal that the external layer (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) arrived separated from the main body? I received mine in that way, without glue.

The TUDIA Merge is a dual layer case and is made of two separate pieces. Since the case is made of two separate parts, it's completely normal for the case to sometimes come apart. Once installed, the weight of the phone should hold the case together and nothing will fall apart or separate.
