Note that Taiwan (Republic of China) quality is typically much higher than mainland China.

The info packet mentions that lubricating the moving parts is very important for the life of the tool, what type of oil do you guys use?

For those who are suggesting WD-40, just DON'T. I find it hard to believe in 2021 people still recommend this. WD-40 is NOT a lubricant, never has been!! It's a Water Displacement formula (hence WD) that's good for DE-greasing (the OPPOSITE of lube) and removing water from flooded equipment. Also handy for removing sticky stuff, but it's NOT an oil or lube. OP - use any light oil applied sparingly and wipe off any excess. If you can use this tool you can learn to lubricate things. ;-) Just don't use WD-40, it REMOVES oils!

What's the difference between this stripper and Klein's 11061? This will not cut insulation from anywhere along the wire...only the ends? Thanks.

My Klein tool 11063 has a hole in the center for cutting the ends off the wire for stripping.

FAILED AFTER 1 SINGLE USE

I WILL NOT BUY AGAIN. THE SLIDING METAL PART THAT HOLDS THE WIRE GETS STUCK IN THE DOWN POSITION, IT SUPPOSED TO RETRACT TO THE DEFAULT “UP” POSITION AFTER EACH USE AND IT DOES NOT.
