The best rice for biryani.. we use it as our daily rice.. love the long grains and they become nice n non sticky if cooked well

The item is very poor as the bag is leaking with rice and the box was full of rice and it also breaks while cooking as it looks very old and almost expired, i dont recommend it

The best rice you can buy. So much better than the standard supermarket basmati.

No1 rice in India.... I am saying ing this after trying all the rice 🍚🌾 I'm giving review of all the best rice available in India. I tried almost 20+ varieties of rice :- <<< DAWAAT biryani basmati rice vs India gate classic >>> Dawaat is the World's longest grain, price is same as India gate classic. But most of the times these grains break when cooking. So taste wise, size wise India gate wins. # Verdict :- I will choose India gate classic because of taste and perfect long grain and both don't have aroma or little aroma. <<< India gate super vs India gate classic >>> India gate classic slightly more longer than super, maybe 1-2mm longer. Taste wise or Aroma wise same. Drawback of super is it's sticky. But super is 50rs cheaper than Classic. # Verdict :- Super is great option if your budget is less. Otherwise you can go with Classic because it's not sticky and grains are slightly lengthy <<< Dawaat Traditional vs Dawaat Super vs Dawaat Biryani vs India gate classic vs India gate Super >>> Dawaat Traditional is also good rice. Difference between Dawaat Traditional and Dawaat Biryani is that Dawaat Biryani is slightly longer than Traditional and rest of all are same. Although outside package many things mentioned about aroma, others. It's not visible in the reality. Dawaat super is same as India gate super. But I would prefer India gate because I like tasty of that rice more than Dawaat. Although it's personal preference. # Verdict :- India gate classic > Dawaat Biryani > Dawaat Traditional > India gate Super > Dawaat super. Note :- first three rice almost 200rs/kg and last two are 150rs/kg. So if price is the concern, India gate super is the clear winner 🏆 <<< Octavius classic basmati rice vs India gate classic >>> This unknown brand Octavius basmati rice is only basmati rice which is aromatic ( I tested this octavius rice around 2022-23, so I'm not sure about current lot. As these all brands and kohinoor was aromatic earlier, but they're not Aromatic currently.) Lengthwise octavius 1-2 mm shorter than India gate classic otherwise tastewise, pricewise same. <<< India gate classic vs other brands >>> Other varieties of these brands are not greater quality than these. # Fortune isn't aged rice and pricewise same as India gate super. So I would go with super. # kohinoor was previously the best rice available same as India gate classic. But they discontinued after bought by Adani or manufacture irregularly. # Pansari Royal and Signature are good rice. But it's fortified, means some vitamins or other things added. I personally didn't like the taste and rice is slight yellowish in color and price also same as India gate classic. So, I will go with Classic. ----- Final Verdict-------- India gate classic >= Dawaat Biryani > Dawaat Traditional > India gate super > Dawaat Super Note : Octavius classic or Premium was India gate classic level, but they currently removed aged rice outside package. So, I have to check their quality again. Other rice is also good 😊 👍 First three are quite expensive because the rice quality and inventory cost for ageing the rice inflated their price. Always love this old age basmati rice. But the courier fee is too much.
