HyperX Kingston Technology Impact 32GB Kit (2x16GB) 2400MHz DDR4 CL14 260-Pin SODIMM Laptop HX424S14IBK2/32

***Update*** This RAM, 2400MHz runs great in the Skull Canyon NUC, after you adjust the memory profile. The issue is a brand new skull canyon and this 2400MHz RAM will not boot. But if you have a 2133, CL13 set of RAM to use, you can boot the Skull Canyon and go into the BIOS to change the Memory Profile from "automatic" to XMP. It's very easy, and then the 2400 MHz RAM will run great and fast in the Skull Canyon. //////////////////////////////////// Since I have a 7th gen NUC i5 running with 16GB of HyperX HX421S13IB2/8 Impact Black 8GB 2133MHz... just fine, so ... I ordered this 32 Gig set for my new skull canyon NUC. I had been using the other set from the other NUC temporarily and it worked just fine, but when I put this new set of 32Gig 2400 RAM in, the Skull Canyon didn't boot or post at all. Nothing. I tried each dimm in each slot and nothing at all. I put the 16G set from the other NUC back in the Skull Canyon and it booted right up. So I don't know what the issue is. I ordered a replacement set, hoping it was just a bad batch of RAM. If this second set also doesn't allow the Skull Canyon to boot, I'll have to refund it and switch to another brand.

Upgraded my MSI laptop from a single slot 16gb to Dual slot 32Gb hyperX rams. No complains, one of the best you can buy. The latency is pretty low comparing to other rams at the same refresh rate.

I purchased these to initially go into a intel NUC 6i5 and will upgrade later on, plus they cost about the same as the 2133MHz versions when I payed for them a few months ago. This NUC unfortunately only has a 15w TPD processor, so I am unable to run them at 2400MHz. But the Skull Canyon NUC will run these at 2400MHz (when I eventually save up the money) Checked and these are running at the same speed and timings as the 2133MHz versions. No problems at all, fitted them in and they just worked (no BIOS adjustments required). Highly recommend these for anyone wanting good, no fussing around, DDR4 modules. EDIT:- I have purchased my Skull Canyon NUC and popped these in. No BIOS settings changed, haven't even been to the memory settings, XMP profile reccognised automatically and confirmed running at 2400MHz. No problems encountered or adjustments required whatsoever. Again these just work and work well.

So the ram is pretty great. But the Alienware 13 R3 doesn't support it very well. It won't boot if only the Kingston ram is installed. If I used one Kinston stick and a stock stick, it would boot and see all the ram, but as soon as I take out the original stick, no boot, just a red flashing light.

Snapped the old pair out and popped these in. While I do appear to have gained a small measure of performance, what I really needed was more RAM. The old pair were 2133 CL17. If you're upgrading a Dell XPS 15 9550, this ram kit will get you the hat-trick of a faster memory bus, lower latency, and more capacity. Don't expect the world though, even with all of that you're going to be seeing a small performance improvement of 1-5% or so.

I don't want to knock the product too badly because it probably works great with some machines. Despite some reviews to the contrary, I could not get three out of four sticks I tested to work in an August '16 Intel NUC6i7KYK "Skull Canyon" under BIOS 37 then 42. One stick, by itself, POSTed and memtest86'd just fine at 2400 MHz. The other three all prevented POST completion separately or together. NUC would power up, no video, no blink codes, run for 30 seconds or so, then shutdown for five seconds, then repeat. Sticks were date code 1643 (one 2x kit via RMA from Kingston since at that point it appeared I had one DoA stick--Kingston Support was great on this) and the other 2x kit was 1637 (the original kit from Amazon--one of which was the stick that worked fine). Sadly, both kits went back and I'm now waiting for Crucial 2133. Amazon said they had it in stock but now say it'll take 20 days to deliver. I kinda hate to give up that last percentage point or two of performance from the CL14 2400MHz sticks, but at the end of the day working reliably beats not working.

These Kingston HX424S14IBK2/32 did not work in my Intel NUC Kit NUC6i7KYK Mini PC. I know that they work for some people, but not for me. I tried them one at a time and swapped them and tried different slots. They are not on the Intel compatible list. If you go to the Kingston web site, they are not listed for this application. This is as of early November, 2016. An 8 GB CENTON SODIMM worked fine, so I know the NUC is working. I give 5 stars because I like Kingston and cannot fault them if these don't work for me with the NUC6i7KYK. I returned the Kingston HX424S14IBK2/32 for a refund. This was with NUC BIOS version 0037, released 03JUN2016 - I don't know if the newer BIOS would have worked, since I'd already returned the HX424S14IBK2/32.

Great product, CL14 does reduce latency&increase performance (although not much). Easy to install on my XPS 15. It’s a bit more expansive than other DDR4 2400 32gb products, but if you seek absolute best performance, you can definitely try this one.

J'utilise ces barrettes dans un NAS QNAP TS873, excellent produit bien trop rapide pour un NAS mais fait très bien l'affaire car je les ai acheté en offre reconditionnée Amazon à un prix qui défie toute concurrence... Pour un PC Portable, ces barrettes DDR4 CL14 (prendre le chiffre le plus bas possible), permettront de jouer à n'importe quel jeu du moment et de faire tourner les logiciels les plus exigeants.

Als Ersatz für die vorhandenen 8 GB RAM. Laptop - wie in diversen Youtube Videos beschrieben - geöffnet, vorhandenen RAM raus, neuen RAM rein, Laptop wieder geschlossen, gestartet, fertig. Keinerlei Einstellungen im BIOS nötig, wurde direkt erkannt und läuft stabil mit der vom Hersteller versprochenen Geschwindigkeit. Ich kann diesen RAM bedenkenlos weiterempfehlen.

With 32gb ram in my pc it boots straight away and I have no problem running multiple programs or running any game I have, so all in all a worthy investment I'd say. :-)

Kit de memoria de categoría premium de 32 GB a 2400 Mhz con una latencia más baja que otros kits y módulos. Es uno de los kits validados por Intel para un Intel NUC8i5BEK (Bean Canyion), es reconocido perfectamente y funciona sin ningún tipo de problema. Si no fuera por el precio al que se ha puesto toda la RAM DDR4 desde el 2016 al 2018 (casi se ha duplicado) hubiese tenido una relación calidad precio mucho mayor. En cualquier caso memoria RAM mejor que sobre que falte.

El producto es tal cual se describe, es sumamente simple de instalar y funciona perfectamente, el kit de 2X16GB es una excelente opción para los que requieren un alto desempeño con ciertos procesos, para trabajos intermedios va sobrado sin duda, muchas veces no paso de 13GB de RAM utilizados en el sistema, pocas veces supero los 16, así que creo es una excelente opción en cuanto a calidad/precio.
