Chinchilla Chiller Granite Stone

I use this in my chinchilla cage. This rock is so amazing. The size makes is super convenient to freeze in my freezer. The size also makes stacking multiple rocks simple. This is convenient when switching them out during the day as needed. This particular rock stays cooler than many others that I have tried so changing it out is less often than most. The look is very sleek in the cage. The chinchilla is still what everyone's eye goes to when they look in. The rock blends in very well.

My chinchilla never wants to leave this stone haha. They absolutely love it and it seems like it does well at keeping them cool. Must have for any chinchilla parent! Fits well in the cage, looks nice and seems to be great quality material.

We hit an unexpected heat wave and have no air conditioning. With one pregnant gerbil and her older baby daddy at death's door, fans and cold food simply weren't enough. They looked fairly miserable in between nuzzling each other and continuing to enjoy an active sex life. TMI? Okay, sorry! To see them sleeping apart due to the weather was heartbreaking. This is just a piece of granite that you place in your fridge and then in the cage/tank and it retains the coolness for awhile. The package tells you to keep 2 slabs on hand so you can swap them out - while one is chillin' your pets aren't left waiting and getting hot again. The gerbs checked it out, promptly peed on it, then dad settled in happily. Mom not as happy with it. Urine wipes off easily and doesn't stain it. I put it in the freezer a few times to get it colder faster and then put it back in. It doesn't seem to stay cool as long as I'd like. They sleep soundly on it - together. A bit of toilet tissue for cushioning helps them avoid having a hard surface to try and get comfortable on. I've kept and bred gerbils for decades and would recommend this. The slab arrived with no chips or broken parts. I suspect if you do get a broken one it will be because the delivery people handled it poorly. This might also be a good product for cats and small dogs.

As a cooling stone should be.

It's a nice thick slab - very durable and a works well to keep my mini lop cool in the summer.

Great product, does as it should! Shipping needs to be different as this was put in a mailer and the slab broke in half. Luckily it was still useable, but I imagine it could’ve broken into multiple parts if it was dropped enough and become unusable

So the critters seem to appreciate the stone and it helps make them a little bit cooler.

My Guinea Pig "Speedy" needed a way to stay cool. So, I started looking for a way to help him be really comfortable. This product is the answer for me. At first I placed it inside his cage, but he tended to avoid it. I then moved it inside of his wooden house and he ran right in, and checked it out. Then he took a nap laying on this cool surface. The quality is very good and when the price and quality meet. A purchase is made. I highly recommend this product.

Very pleased with this cool mat. Excellent value for money and the Chinchilla loves it. He lies on it when it's hot and when he's been running around, to cool down.

Es perfecto para las temporadas de calor asi se mantienen frescos y para mayor provecho metan al refri para que este Mas Fresca con uno 10 minutos se hace super fria, sobre el tamaño es ideal solo para una chinchilla si tienes Mas chinchillas compra otras asi no se pelean 💕 la recomiendo bastante y no se preocupen porque la muerdan al inicio se les hara raro y obvio Es algo desconocido para ellas esta muy dura por lo tanto no van a roer nada y dejaran de hacerlo😊

Great product and stays cool. I think that it would be too small for a chinchilla, but it’s a good size for my Syrian. He doesn’t really use it to stay cool because it’s not super hot, but it’s all nice to use a a weight in case my wheel turns over or as a flat ledge to place hideouts or the food bowl on!

Avec les grosses chaleurs j'ai voulu essayer ce "tapis" en granit et je dois reconnaître que ma chinchilla aime bien ! Elle n'hésite pas à aller dessus !
