If worn in bed, at night, do they leak?

I found these to be messy, and could never get a proper seal. The hinged flat plastic on the two sides of the opening result in small gaps at each of the two hinges when the pouch is worn - while the absorbent inner material does work somewhat to contain liquid, the gaps did result in leakage. For what it's worth, the only solutions for me have been 1) the Cunningham clamp, and/or 2) a tight external catheter.
