It shows a breathable. Polyester outer layer, a non-woven filter core, and a soft cotton inner layer. I was surprised when mine arrived and the inner and outer layers were the same polyester material. I decided to test one by putting it on and doing the candle test. I was able to blow out a candle whilst wearing this mask. When I cut into it and deconstructed it, I was shocked to find that the inner filter core is a layer of polypropylene interfacing, which is for dust masks. I did a burn test and every layer of this mask is plastic synthetics, not cotton. It doesn't feel very protective, so we likely just use these for house projects where a dust mask would be useful. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for the price ! *by C***M on Reviewed in the United States on January 4, 2021* I got these masks because I needed some black masks to wear for work, and I needed the masks to be protective, adjustable, and comfortable enough to wear for a full shift. I was worried these masks would be too thin, but that is not the case. They have a good structure, and it fits the shape of my face well. I have a smaller face, but they also fit my father who has a larger head. The only drawback is that these masks do not have a nose wire. The shape of the mask allows it to curve properly around the nose, so I'm not too worried about the lack of wire. I have washed and air dried these masks once already, and there were no issues. The adjustable piece is a small rubber tube, and it stays in place unless you choose to move it (even after I washed it).
