Pimsleur Hebrew Level 2 CD: Learn to Speak and Understand Hebrew with Pimsleur Language Programs (2) (Comprehensive) Review: Great for easy conversational practice - I've only had this a couple of days and have worked only with the first two lessons, but can already tell it's excellent. Whereas the Pimsleur I uses helper verbs (such as rotze and yaHol) with the infinitives, level II starts with verb conjugations in present and past tense. Not sure how well it would work as the only Hebrew course, as I've already studied some Hebrew grammar and am familiar with basic verb conjugation, but it is great for easy conversational practice. It's like having a private teacher. I listen to it on my iPod while walking, after having converted to .m4b format so the tracks can be bookmarked and changed in speed. Review: Review of Pimsleur Hebrew II - I am enjoying the course very much. The vocabulary is practical and maintains interest for the learner. The rate of reinforcement is well paced. There could be more emphasis on introducing nouns, although I suppose this is something that can be acquired later. Sometimes I find the grammatical explanations to be scant, as though the course is more designed for someone already with a background in foreign language study. I also wonder why the opportunity for Hebrew to English translation has been left out, with the exception of the short introductory conversations at the start of each lesson? Overall the course is excellent! I highly recommend it.

this is the best curriculum so far that I have found for hebrew
this is the best curriculum so far that I have found for hebrew. I am learning along with my 12 year old son. we use rosetta, pimsleur and he has a private tutor in israel. I love these because I listen in my car and am actually doing something educational and constructive while going from place to place. excellent and highly recommend for any age really.

So worth it! The best way to learn a language other than living in the country.
Best way to learn. Israelis have been impressed with my quick knowledge and terrific pronunciation! More grammatically correct now than my native speaking bf! =) Expensive but worth it.

Pimsleur Hebrew II
Excellent to train the ear and mind for rapidly spoken Hebrew. I highly recommend it. The price is right. I find that I am tired at the end of each lesson. They are the right length.

Hard
As you may know learning a new language is very hard. My husband and I decided we wanted to learn Hebrew. The language is beautiful, but I think that pimsleur is kinda hard, especially this Hebrew II. We did the Hebrew I in a few months and really learned it well along with the reading which I think is easier than the speaking. But over all if you want to devote a set aside time everyday to listen to these then you will learn it fast. If you don't have time to set aside and listen to it everyday then you won't learn it fast and you won't maintain it.

Much harder that level one
Level one was a challange but I was able to get threw it in about a year in my spare time. level two starts out much much more difficult with alot of new words in each new lesson, moves much quicker

Five Stars
Good product, although made for "Pimsleur Approach", so a bit different appearance, but content seems the same.
