No variable speed
Works great except no variable speed Just read description completely Convenience without cord....within a year the blade stopped spinning so couldn't use again. I contacted Cuisinart and they said they would exchange I sent them information they requested and never would respond again after multiple calls and emails... So I would not buy again

Great until it gives up in a year Customer Service first rate!
My original review was a "1" . Basically the unit did exactly what it was supposed to do and what I wanted it to do until it quit. I was angry - then I contacted Cuisinart support - and WOW! They were very helpful, explained that my item was actually stale inventory the shipper had sent me from stock that was not for the American market, but if I provided the Amazon invoice they would honor what I thought was a generous warranty from my date of purchase. They are replacing the unit and I don't have to go through the exercise of shipping it anywhere. I have several Cuisinart products, never had a problem with any of them before this, and they sure came through. Let us say I am a happy camper. My original review is below: I don't know what to say. It was great when it worked, I did not abuse it, I kept it clean. but it just gave up and no longer charges. Wire is in as new shape. So presumably battery has to be replaced - but really, it gave up in one year?

Do not waste your time or money
This is the worst [rather pricey, name-brand] item I have seen in a long time. Received the product, seemed to be dead, so okay, no problem, let it charge. But after an hour or two, the three charge lights were still blinking. Had to look in the manual to decode the meaning, cause it still seemed to have no power. The manual says when there is 1 solid light and two blinking, that it has 40% charge, and when 2 are solid, it has 80%, and all 3 are 100% (or something like that). But it had two blinking and the first one was blinking as well, but much more intermittently/slowly. Finally figured out that in order to turn it on, you have to hold one button (with a lock picture) and when the lights come on, you can hold the power button and it runs. If you want to pulse, you can press the power button intermittently, but if you let go for more than a couple seconds, the light goes out, then you have to start over. It's ABSURD! By this point, I knew it was going back... It also didn't 'seem' very powerful, but I put it in a bowl of water and it churned pretty well (didn't try with anything thick though). Of course it has the two attachments, which is nice, and they are easy cleaning cause they are detachable. Would have liked if the main unit was also waterproof, for easy cleaning should it get food slopped on it, but it seemed clear the housing was not water-tight. After charging some 12+ hours (never finished -lights kept blinking), and when I unplugged, it seemed to have only 2-lights-worth of charge, which quickly went down to only 1, so obviously the battery was flawed/old. And of course it's not a removable battery, so the whole thing is garbage when that quits... There are a bunch of immersion blenders listed for under $20 and I bet every one of them is better.

Updated: Still working very well!
UPDATE: I've been using this blender for almost a month now and it has been great. I use it every day for my protein shake and I have charged it only 3 times. Two of those times the battery was only 1/3 down so I didn't really need to charge. I have gotten used to the weird ergonomics of the safety feature and it doesn't bother me much any more, but I still think the design of it could have been better. The cordless aspect is a great feature and makes this blender so much more convenient than the corded Cuisinart stick blender I have been using for years. I give it 5 stars for performance, but I'm leaving my review at 4 stars for the design of the safety feature and the mixing cup. I am now using the cup that came with my old corded Cuisinart blender and it is far superior to the cup that came with this one, which is a little bigger but poorly designed and made of flimsy materials in comparison. Cuisinart is a big company and should be able to provide better R&D/design. I looked at all the inexpensive off-brand cordless stick blenders and saw too many bad reviews about cheap materials falling apart and dying batteries. The KitchenAid seems great (built like a power drill), but for me it would be overkill and too expensive, since I am basically just mixing up protein powder drinks. The Cuisinart seemed like a good compromise . I was a little nervous to order it since some reviews say Amazon is selling years-old stock with stale batteries, but I went ahead and purchased, since it has a 3-year warranty through Cuisinart. So far, the blender has been just fine. The battery was over half charged upon arrival so I don't think it is old stock. It charged to full quickly. The materials seem sturdy with a nice stainless shaft and blade assembly. There is plenty of power to whip up my drinks very fast. I have used it 4 times and the battery indicator has not moved from full. It is not too loud. I can't say that the blender is perfect, so I am only giving it 4 stars. The main markdown is the safety-off feature. It is a good and necessary feature but it could have had a more ergonomic design; it is a little awkward. And the plastic mixing cup has ounces marked in multiples of 5 (seriously?); it should be multiples of 4 like every standard measuring cup on the planet. The markings are also hard to see. But these issues are not dealbreakers. All in all, I am pleased with this blender and I recommend it.

Amazing Product
I’ve been using this blender several times a day, for about 2 years now. It is versatile, operation is a breeze, charge still holds up well and the power is sufficient for majority of cooking.

I wanted to return this as it is not easy to use. Every time I want to pulse the lock gets activated. So I have to unlock and pulse. Not nice to use. Unfortunately it seems I cannot return it so I’ve wasted over AED 390.

Cuisinart RHB-100 EvolutionX Cordless Rechargeable is easy to use and to charge. It’s a strong and enough of a lightweight blender to use even for petite hands. Not having a cord attached to it while blending is convenient and super safe.
