The LPS is a very clean tube and I've used it mostly in my Hi Fi equipment, not in my guitar amp. JJ/Tesla is where you want to go--I find that one to have a more distorted character when driven in the right circuit. **Q: Does the "original version" have the "rounded square shape" mica? or is this the newer "toothed" mica? thank you much.** A: Newer version.
