Is this roomy enuf for 5'9" 220lb to actually change out of swim suit? And is pocket waterproof? Reading conflicting reviews. Thanks!

This is plenty big. I'm 6'1, 270. I easily change out of my cycling gear. This is not waterproof, why would it be? It's a basically a pull over Terry cloth bathrobe. Your not going to be swimming or showering with it...

Does the pocket have access to the inside of the pancake for changing?

The pocket is only accessible from the outside and does not have secondary access from the inside

Acostumbro viajar con mis hijas a las playas, hay ocasiones que es dificil encontrar opciones para poder quitarse la ropa mojada y colocarse ropa seca, con este poncho se logra de maravilla, queda a suficiente altura del piso para evitar miradas indiscretas y tiene el tamaño suficiente para maniobrar con ambas manos por dentro. Una maravilla!!
