Toysmith Neato! Rocket Balloons, Toy

These balloons are fun for the kids and are easy to pump up. In some other reviews they said the pump received did not match the pump in the picture. The pump I received on 6/18 is exactly the one shown in the picture. The pump works great and can pump up a balloon in about 20 easy pumps. It is easy to pop the balloon if you try to go to the balloon's limit. Stretching a new balloon prior to its first flight seems to help. We found that the neat screeching sound a balloon makes disappears after it is inflated about 3 times but it still flies fine. You never know which direction they will fly, so don't be near a house or trees. Note that when ordering additional balloons, the Amazon price for balloons-only is only about $1.50 less than the price of balloons and pump, so I think it is worth getting an extra pump with the additional balloons, although I never have had a pump go bad. Update 11/1/15: The balloons are necessarily thin to work as they do and there are times when the balloons pop, either blowing them up or when they hit the grass or leaves with lots of air still in the balloons. Normally, this is no big deal since you get 40 balloons in each package. The latest package I purchased in 10/15 was not up to par with the first 3 I purchased. A few of the balloons, perhaps 6, had holes in them before they were launched and could not be blown up. Usually the holes were near the tip where the end is tied in a knot. Also, the end of the pump that blows up the balloons was chipped and made it a little more difficult to blow up the balloons. I'm telling you this just so you won't expect perfection from these balloons. I still recommend them and will continue to buy them because my grand kids and I love them, they're cheap, and you get so many balloons that you'll get tired of playing with them before you run our of balloons, even if some have holes in them from the start.

These are an absolute hoot. My son spent hours playing with them. They are high quality and absolutely good value for the price. My only complaint is I had to help blow them up for hours of play (ha!) but it was worth the excitement. We used the same balloon over and over again. Only a few popped but due to user error. Highly recommend!

I bought the Toysmith Neato! Rocket Balloon Set for my grandkids, and it was a big hit! The set includes 40 balloons and an air pump, which is everything you need to get started. My 7-year-old had trouble attaching the balloon to the pump, so adult assistance is definitely needed—at least at first. Once we inflated the first balloon and let it go, it whizzed through the air with a fun, loud screeching sound that had the kids laughing and chasing it all over the house and beach. The balloons are reusable, though we did have one pop from over-inflating, so be mindful not to fill them too much. Overall, it’s a great value and loads of outdoor fun. Would definitely recommend for kids with a little supervision.

Fun gift for brief amount of entertainment. The pump is a little bit tough to manage for age 4/5. Some balloons don’t work and are broken but the quality and concept is generally fine.

A good bang for your buck. Read several reviews saying that the pump is of cheap quality. However the pump turned out to be pretty good, it can also be used as a stand alone product to inflate other balloons. The balloons fly high and make a rocket like sound just as expected. The experience lays about 5 to 10 seconds for every balloon. However after 5 or more turns with the same balloon the opening of the balloon expands and you get less of the rocket sound and less thrust. Nonetheless it is a fun experience for the kids. Note: only gripe we had was that it takes some time to get used to mounting the balloon on the pump. A improved design would make using the product easier and faster.

If you are in US , please go to TJ MAxx or Home Goods to get a better quality product at the same price. Originally I bought same product from Home Goods and my kid loved it - the pump worked fine , the balloons were nice and would inflate to be big This product from Amazon site - we hated it... there was a "gas/petrol" smell coming from the pump. My kid started to use it and the hands got all black because the pump had some greasy stuff which kept oozing out - I had to throw it out - I was hoping it does not make my kid allergic !!!!! . The balloons themselves were OK - not as big as our original purchase - very low quality and for most of them the end which makes the noise when you let the balloon go kept coming out .... so not noise when let them go ... Overall I would not buy this particular product but look for similar ones online

Fun, keeps my 4 year old entertained. The pump broke after a handful of uses, but those are pretty cheap to replace.

The balloons had tiny holes so don’t work and the ones without holes would burst after putting in a quarter of the air. Very disappointing.
