The C5 LS1/LS6 does not have a filter under the pressure switch. If/when the sensor gets clogged/fails, I will simply put a new sensor in. Still on the same sensor for 5+ years. Regular changing of your oil/oil filter will prevent premature failure. If/when your oil pressure sensor does fail, sensor replacement takes about 2 minutes with this extension in place. **Q: What thread is on the fittings please? Ls1 have different ones.
