Remove 1, reinsert partially, swing cover up reinsert screw2, tighten. Or you could take both out and play fumble thumbs dropping screws and covers all over. Took me under a minute. Clear plastic looks like it belongs. Not clear from online ad but 1 side is molded plastic with no opening. You stick you finger thru other side. This is great as it adds structural integrity to cover and discourages learned behavior auto switch on - face the solid side toward direction you normally switch on from. .
