The perfect game to practice grammar skills learned in the first three years of school, and developed in association with early learning consultants, this educational tool uses fun puzzle pieces to help children construct sentences―no matter how silly their meaning. An exciting game for 1-4 players, children and adults can enjoy it together as the younger players learn about nouns, verbs, adjectives, and more with the help of 124 color-coded cards, and construct an almost endless possibility of sentences. An illustrated instruction sheet helps parents and teachers guide children through the game step by step. It's time to get silly while practicing grammar with the little ones in your life with DK Games: Silly Sentences. Review: Sneaky Learning - I love games like these where kids are having fun and don't know they're learning. My 5 year old loves laughing over sentences he comes up with, and it's opened the door to talk about parts of speech and to work on reading short sentences. I like that the pieces won't fit unless the sentence makes sense grammatically, and I was impressed that there are so many words included. We've never run out of words to make more sentences. It's been a big hit and a nice addition to homeschool stations. Review: Fantastic way to supplement language arts learning. - It is where it all begins.. what you do with it is up to your imagination as a parent, how do you suggest your child to use it. You can simply ask them to construct sentences or you can go way beyond and above that. This can be random game of matching words starting with the same letter, it can be finding words that rhyme, or have the same number of syllables. You can improve their spelling and building different sentences from words of the sentence or sentences they start with. Truly opportunities for learning are endless! I love the set fort he sturdiness and simplicity. It is not complicated and that is why it can be used in so many different ways. Easy to clean by throwing back into the box for the next time. One of the best tools to help a child to learn to read, spell, and write because this is where it all really leads.. great writing skills.

Great game for Kindergarteners
My kid has this game in her classroom. i wanted her to have more practice outside of class. It's a fun learning game. I wish there were a few more word options. I'm sure they keep it simple for beginning learners. But I find my kid wanting to add words. So we write them on paper and add them to the sentence line. But each piece is a puzzle piece connection, making the scrap paper additions look sloppy. So it would be nice if there were blank puzzle pieces that they could write in dry erase marker to make up their own words. The game has a big selection of nouns, but needs more adjectives, verbs and adverbs. And blank puzzle pieces that can be inserted for learners custom words.

OVERALL A GREAT EDUCATIONAL GAME
I really like this game. We bought it to add to our educational game collection. We like to have a game day every Friday as part of our homeschool. This is a great game for reinforcing parts of speech and helping kids learn to create stories. My only constructive feedback is that there is one piece labeled “hero” with a picture of a sub sandwich. Although I’m familiar with what a hero sandwich is, I don’t think it’s relevant for the average 4-7 year old. I think it would have been better to put the word “sandwich” or replace the picture of the sandwich with a superhero. I’m just going to print out the word sandwich and tape it to the card. Otherwise this is a great game!

One of my FAVORITE classroom games/centers
I teach special education and LOVE this game for the lower elementary students. It's great for oral language development, sentence structure, increasing vocabulary, and also supports those students who aren't quite reading yet. A fun and silly game, easy to use as a center or a reward game. There are enough pieces for a good 4-5 students to work on this at a time, as long as they each make one sentence and put back those pieces when they are done, and then exchange for new ones.

All age groups! Perfect gift!
I start using this with my 3 years old baby. He loves to make sentences and enjoys a lot..... the sentences he make a are really silly and we laugh a lot! Good product. Reading and sentence making is so easy to teach your kid. I recommend this product for sure.

More fun if just squares rather than limiting by puzzle shapes
It was exciting in the beginning but options are a bit limiting because of the puzzle format, and sentences did turn out silly though not really funny. My kids dissolve into giggles just making their own silly sentences out loud. We’re keeping the game but it’s being ignored on our shelf!

GREAT KIDS GAME
GREAT GAME FOR KIDS LEARNING TO READ AND PUT TOGETHER THOUGHTS OF THEIR OWN. I PURCHASED THIS FOR MY GRANDSON THAT WILL ENTER FIRST GRADE THIS FALL. HE HAS LEARNED TO READ AND THIS MAKES THE GAME SO MUCH FUN. HE IS DETERMINED TO FIGURE OUT WORDS AND THIS HELPS HIM RECOGNIZE WORDS. AS HE GETS OLDER I AM SURE HE WILL ENJOY IT MUCH MORE.

Awesome teaching game
Excellent start for pre primary stepping into sentence making. I bought this for my 5 year old. It has taught small details like usage of capital letter in the beginning of a sentence, usage of a and the, usage of adjectives. Simply awesome. Completely worth Rs.550

Good game but lack of verbs
My 5 year old student thoroughly enjoyed playing this game for the first time, she laughed a lot and wanted to make a lot of silly sentences. I, however, would have preferred more choice: there a lot of "noun" cards but only 4 different verbs (ate, saw, climbed, jumped) which means that after a little while all sentences are alike...

per imparare l'inglese
buon strumento per imparare giocando un po' di vocabolario inglese nonché, cosa più importante, la struttura della frase.
