The area consistently has water on it, it has held up well and I think it would work for your application as well. **Q: Does it stay in place? Of course surface you apply it to will also effect adhesion. **Q: Can this hold for a long time if i put it on top of a shower knob?** A: It holds up well in the weather, rain & snow. But using it on a knob that you'll turn and push against.
