First, the price was very good and comparable to similar products from other sellers on Amazon. For under $20, I didn't expect too much. But, I am pleased with this item.It is surprisingly light weight. It likely weighs only a few ounces. It is made of fairly thin, lightweight plastic with a metal grid over the fans. I would not recommend putting much weight on the unit but I might be wrong about its support strength.I wanted fans that blow upward from the base as this one does and not fans that blow thru ports in the rear. I am using this beneath a home surveillance system which gets quite warm. It was a nice fit for my QC system controller. The fans blow air up around all 4 sides of the QC just as I wanted.The 2 large fans, which are lit by cool blue LEDS, blow gently and quietly when plugged into a USB port. It comes with a pass-through USB adapter on a short wire that stores under the unit when not in use. You can plug another USB into the pass-through connector which means that you don't lose a USB port when using this fan. It runs very quiet. There is no on-off switch. The fans and light come on as soon as it's plugged into a USB port.It had 2 folding feet on the back rear underside to tilt it up in the rear. It has two folding tabs near the upper front to keep whatever is placed on top from sliding off.I haven't had it long but am totally pleased so far. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Think through your exit strategy first - but great to use *by T***H on Reviewed in the United States on July 2, 2017* Does a great job of keeping my laptop and me cool. I used to feel a lot of heat on my legs from my laptop but not only does this keep the laptop cool - it keeps me from feeling that heat as well so we are both happier. The USB connection is larger than most but it gives you a USB port in the back of the USB plug for the cooling pad - so you don't lose a USB port by using this. It is so light and helps with cooling so much and costs very little that there is virtually no down side. The only complaint that I could come up with is when I get up I am used to grabbing my laptop from the front side corner and lifting it - when I do that with the cooling pad and laptop together it squeezes the cooling pad so that the fan blades hit and stopped and then I nearly dropped the laptop trying to relieve the pressure on the cooling fan. Would have been a huge mistake to save the cooling pad at the cost of my laptop. I was expecting it to be too noisy. The blue light isn't as annoying as I thought it would be, it is enough to tell there is a blue light, but not distracting in the dark at all. The fans do not blow super fast or a lot of air, but they do enough to circulate the air underneath my laptop to do their job. I really just needed something to keep between my lap and my laptop because​ the lack of air flow is what caused the overheating. and this product works completely perfectly for the price I paid. It is also lightweight and very portable. MY only complaint is that it just looks very mechanical.
