Very compact and convenient to place inside my freezer and fridge. I've only needed to change the battery once in over a yr, so that's not bad. I like that it has visual categories indicating highest temperature and lowest temperature, and that you can clear it out. This can be useful if you are doing a day by day comparison of the cooling within your freezer or fridge section.

This has been baking in our pop up camper for over 1 year in the Florida heat. We leave it on the counter inside the RV to check temps and it works like a charm. Great quality and very accurate. Display is easy to use, but no back light so must be daylight to read.

This was an affordable digital thermometer. I like that it records the lowest and highest temperature. I took it with me on vacation so I could make the hotel fridge was storing my medicine at a safe temp. The display is easy to read. I prefer this over the fancy one i bought recently.

These are great for the price. I bought one for a dying fridge that I needed to monitor the temp for, and then purchased three more for my other units. They are accurate, and do exactly what they claim. The display doesn't freeze even as low as -14, which is the coldest I've had them at. They probably continue to display the temp. even colder. They react quickly to temp. changes, so when you first place them in the fridge or freezer, let it stabilize and then press the "clear" button to get the most accurate "high" temp., otherwise it will remember the temp from when it was outside the appliance.
