Yes, that's what I use...... plug in the transmitter box to the headphone port

How do i play a cd on repeat? the instructions say press mode but that stops the cd and changes it to reading usb. thanks

Press the pre button while CD is playing. Look at bottom right of the screen. It cycles through repeat track, repeat all, random play and off.

No ,it just displays what channel you are on

What batteries does it take?.

According to the User Manual, install 6 x DC1.5V "C" (UM-2) batteries (not included). This comes with a Power Cable/Plug which I use and so no need for batteries.
