This heavy duty vertical bike rack will not bend or break, and will keep your bikes organized and out of the way for years to come. The mini mum is great for apartments or garages, but is also commonly used in bike rooms. You can hang these at 2ft intervals or as close as 1 foot in a staggered "W" formation. Bike is hung by slipping a wheel over the bracket. Upper wheel is stabilized between the sturdy bracket brace and cable retention loop. The cable retention loop can also be used to attach your own security cable to prevent theft. The mini mum can also be purchased with a 6 ft 1/4" galvanized vinyl coated aircraft grade security cable permanently attached. This product has a 3 year limited warranty. Mounting materials depends on what the mini mum is being mounted to. Mounting instructions are provided with the mini mum. They even show up in the pictures. Plus, no mounting instructions. I called the company 802.775.7638 and they emailed me instructions and hardware that was needed, so that was helpful. The security cable must be purchased separately as well [which they had noted]. They mentioned that they usually sell to contractors and that's why everything is separate. They need to add more detailed information in the description and I will change to a 5 star. I live in an apartment complex and our apartment decided to use these for the bike room. We had many bikes stolen (including mine) because the cable is very easy to cut. The thieves didn't cut my actual bike lock since it was much better quality than the cable that came with the mini mum.
