Update. The company send me a replacement right away and it is working great. Gave a glitch to the purple shade so I couldn't use fade and flick setting. Once I removed it light have no problem. You also can connect the lights to each other with part it comes with

I bought an Airgoo Magnetic RGB kit for my pc and used the strips on my motherboard LED header since it supported it (MSI 970A Gaming Pro Carbon) which has features that the Airgoo kit doesn't. I then turned around and bought another Airgoo kit for the same reason, because it has features that my motherboard doesn't. In light of this, I had to get another splitter extension to be able to use another 2 strips. The extension itself is densely coated in a very flexible silicone rubber which tells me it's a great quality. The added set of male pins are a great asset to this kit to address compatibility issues that may arise with other forms of RGB's/LED's and connectors. Fits my needs perfectly.

Yes, this cable work with the Lifx Z strips. You have to use the 3 meter extension cables, but the 5 meter cables want work. I used them to connect 2 light strips to one power cable.

This thing does exactly what its supposed to. I'm short changing one star because of a couple minor nitpicks. 1- the little arrows are very hard to see I wish the connectors only worked one way instead of having to look for the arrows. If you connect them backwards your LEDs either don't work at all or do very strange things and for my application this is used in a pop-up camper I am disconnecting each time I pack it all down. 2- my other minor nitpick is that the little plastic male to male pieces get lost easily. I super glued them into one side to prevent this. All in all, it does what its supposed to do.

Works wonderful. Zero power loss was detected, connections are tight and you line up the lines for polarity. this seems to be working with many different light sets. I will buy again as needed.
