i know, it's weird. Of all the punk bands and albums out there why this one? Well, it's her voice. Brody Dalle's voice is beautiful on vinyl.

My partner and I love this album and exchange vinyl for holidays/birthdays. I received a completely random record that had to be returned and then the second time it was also incorrect. I gave up instead of hoping that third times the charm, and missed out on gifting this for his birthday.

This is really good but not quite as good as the previous efforts by the Distillers, to my ears at any rate. It rocks and in spite of some people's goofy insistence that Brody's looks somehow lessens her punk rock credibility I would argue that she doesn't try to pass off that ska stuff that her (at the time) husband's band Rancid dabbled with and seemed to think was punk. Oh I guess I am trying to bait the skasters out there with that one :) Get the vinyl for the unedited (photo) larger format cover art and a little more sonic presence. Great gravely vocals here that still emote and the band rocks hard. The only thing I could do without is the extended noise filler noodley stuff at the end.
