Thick consistency
Very effective. The thick consistency ensures that it stays where I put it. I've had a leak at the chimney cricket for a minute and this sealed it right up. Highly recommend.

Watch and be aware of what your buying !
The product is Great !I had purchased a can of roofing tar in the .900 size from our local hardware store , needing more I went to Amazon. Well not reading the label close enough ,and going by price only ,In a picture a quart looks like a gallon.I was pricing the quart size which was a little ,not much less than I had spent on the gallon I had purchased locally. I can't blame anyone but myself, but I have it off my chest now Thanks.Bob.

Works but a bit pricy for small can
So if you need just a bit for a few small holes in your flashing, this works great. But if you need more or have bigger holes just get bigger cans. This is a small can. Used it all up for a few small holes. No leaks so far. Price was a bit high for size. Ease of use was great though. Just sticky enough to apply easily. Took a bit to dry in this cold weather.

Deceptive, lacking necessary information!
This can is identical in appearance to the same product by the same company I can buy at my hardware center for $18-$19 - except the product at the hardware center in town is ONE GALLON. And, in this listing, NOWHERE is it specifically stated you're only getting 30 oz. You can't tell looking at a tiny picture that it's not the same as the can I'm buying in town that is 1 gal, because they look identical, except for the fact that this one is a miniature version. You have to actually click on the photo to expand it and read at the bottom of the can in the photo that it's only 30 oz. Imagine my shock and surprise when the product I received were only tiny miniature versions of what I thought I was buying, but with quantities compared I am actually paying here FOUR TIMES the price! I feel very, very ripped off. Lesson - don't assume anything, look very carefully for the "fine print"! No, I can't recommend this product when the same thing in town is essentially $1 more, but a whole gallon rather than a measly 30 oz!!!!!!

it's black like tar
When I bought it I was thinking it was white like snow seal but it's not, it's black. It works great but I needed it atop my rear window & would have prefered white so it doesn't show. but this worked & really doesn't show too bad. Kept the rain out & that's what I needed. Have enough left to do the roof vents too. Works great & I'm just guessing but it seems to dry hard enough to paint over. Will probably do that.

Work great
Used this with Henry web tape to fix a very poorly vent on my newish mobile home. I used a paint stir stick as a disposable putty knife. Roof now sealed and was a quick fix. End of roof leak.

Henry roof cement
After 2 years began flaking off! Seemed great at first, but disappointed by apparent inability to withstand intense summer heat as we have the last couple years in BC or the colder winters, the last of which was extremely mild
