Strong and easy to use.
Excellent bag for small kitchen trash can. Also use it for small amounts of garden waste. Strong, does not tear, and easy to tie shut. Sharp ends can puncture it.

Hearty great bags.
I have been using these for a couple of years. They are thick. I have had no leaking problems. They can be used multiple times, if they are dry. They tear away from the roll easily. These work great for bathroom garbage. They also work well for a counter top bag when you are cooking and have a lot of discard. I like them so much, I have them on the subscription service.

strongest compost bags so far
These are the strongest compostable trash bags I've found so far. They are part of my subscribe and save. I empty them out when they're 1/2 full because bugs still start if you leave food in them for a full week. These bags have NEVER leaked or busted on me compared to the other thinner ones I've tried. Our county has 3 pick-ups on trash day: 1) trash; 2) recycle and 3) compost. if you don't separate it out, you can get fined. Because of the compost can, my weekly trashcan is never full. I'll keep using these bags until they stop selling them or something else better comes along.

Biodegradable, but don't be rough
For the most part these bags hold my family's trash for a full week(4-5 ppl). Depending on what's thrown out, sometimes I have found some wetness outside of the bag and if it has too much weight, the handles will tear. Biggest problem was after getting down to the last bags (bought two boxes that lasted since dec 2020), they would tear easily just being removed from the box- lost a total of 2 bags that way. I'm guessing people having problems roughly throw objects in the trash that shouldn't be anyway- it's not meant for liquid- that's what your sink is for, it's not meant for cardboard- recycle that, food waste should be composted if you have that option, and if your trash is that heavy the problem is more likely people not changing their waste and purchasing habits. Using biodegradable bags don't help relieve your plastics guilt if you don't reduce buying that in every other part of your life.

Plastic free and a great product :)
It's wonderful to be plastic free! This is a great product that comes from a great company. We use these kitchen bags for trash and for our large cat litter bin (for feline pine litter) out in the garage. The bags hold up, even to moisture and they are a good size for a standard kitchen trash bin. We are very happy with this product and the other products we've purchased from this company. It feels good to do our part to cut down plastic pollution!

No leaks!
We have been using these for more than a year and have had maybe one bag that leaked. I am impressed with these and hope they truly are compostable so I can feel a bit better about having to put things in the trash. We compost most food here so there is not that much wet/moist food that is put in these bags usually but even when we have had that, the bags have held up. They are easy to open, have no scent and seem to be one of the better values when you do the math. They are also unusually thick compared to their plastic counterparts - which I like.

Sturdiness varies b/t orders
Bag sturdiness differs from box to box. Iโve ordered bags from Holy Scrap several times. Sometimes I receive bags packaged in a black box (like in the listing photo) and other times a brown box. My last order came in the black box and the bags were perfect - very sturdy. Most recent order came in a brown box and the bags are so flimsy they often split when Iโm trying to open one to put it on my compost can. More than once Iโve gone through 2-3 bags before I can open one without it splitting down the side.

Great bags! Probably the best of compostable bags.
This is probably the best compostable bag Iโve ever used. Unlike other compostable bags Iโve tried, this one doesnโt fall apart the second it gets wet. It actually holds up pretty well, which is a big deal when youโre dealing with compost, where things can get a little messy. Iโve had bags in the past that just disintegrate as soon as moisture hits them, so itโs nice to find one that doesnโt have that problem. That being said, itโs not completely waterproof. If youโre putting wet compost in it, you will see some liquids seep through, so itโs not the best option for anything thatโs too soggy. However, the bag itself doesnโt break down or fall apart, which is what really sets it apart from the competition. Itโs still going to do its job without falling apart the moment you remove it from your compost bin. So, while itโs not perfect, this bag is definitely worth getting. If youโre looking for a compostable option that actually holds up and doesnโt disintegrate at the first sign of moisture, this is your best bet. Itโs durable enough for everyday composting tasks, and that alone makes it a solid choice.

Large Compost Bags
They are great for their intended purpose. They are only meant to hold shredded paper or compostable food products. Therefore, they are not very durable or sturdy but I donโt believe compost bags are intended to be that. We purchased them as our city now want all shredded paper put in compost bags. We found the ones that you can buy from local stores and Costco too small for this purpose. I am very happy with the product I received.

Holy Scrap Compost Bin Liners
These are the best bags that Iโve found to line my large green compost bin. They are strong and much larger than what I could get at Walmart. The handles are easy to tie.

Good quality and size
Much better than the bags provided by the authority which split and are quite small.

Seemed good but printing has changed
I bought these because our city does not allow plastic bin liners (even compostable ones) and this one said in big words " I am not plastic " as it says its a 100% plant-based bag and because it had that in big words I figured awesome, the city will know easy that it's not plastic. But they arrived today and the printing has definitely changed, the bag now just has everything below the " I am not plastic" but not that part. It also at the bottom has a warning about leaving this plastic bag with kids. So now I am wondering if they changed the formula from 100% plant to containing some compostable plastic? Unsure but have asked for a return as I can't use compostable plastics :( really thought these were going to be the answer to a non compostable plastic bin liner. Other than that issue I didn't actually use the product, but it felt nice and strong, and had no odor I could sense.

Love these for kitchen bins!!
These are really strong and an absolute pleasure to use in our kitchen bins. Everything is mostly composted or recycled so no very heavy refuse going in. No leaks or tears - just have to be gently pulling them over the edges of the bin. Most importantly, no microplastics and hoping they totally biodegrade and no nasties killing off our wildlife etc. Yay! I rarely leave reviews, but had to as they are so fab. After being left saddened with the large plastic (Brabantia) or pretend eco versions (Ecozone) bin bags, I was delighted to find these and this size works just fine and having been taking them out every 2-3 days.
