Review: Exceeded every expectation - Won the refurb lottery with this one. Exterior was in near perfect condition with just a little sticker residue to clean up. Inside was extremely clean with no dust. CPU was as described. NVMe drive was a name brand (Samsung) with minimal usage and clean SMART. RAM came in 2x8GB and were different brands, but were both name brands (Samsung and Hynix) and matched specs. Had internal Intel Wi-Fi module, so no need for an external adapter. 3 DP ports, and came with a DVI to HDMI adapter. Fan is whisper quiet. No usability issues at all.
Review: All components are good quality and it's almost pristine. - Excellent for the price. The EliteDesk 800 G5 was clean, no fingerprints, dust, or dents. There was an actual Intel WiFi and Bluetooth card installed with the antenna connected properly. The SSD was Samsung, although a bit well used. Even the fans were clean and the keyboard and mouse were decent quality. The only very minor complaint is there was no original HP RAM. It had one Kingston module and one from Ramaxel, so not matched modules. Everything is present and works though, which is well above average for a refurb at this price. I've purchased at least ten refurb mini computers over the past five years. This is the first one I've received that didn't have any case damage or missing components. At six cores and with good power management, it's a perfect media center PC, and can be used as a primary desktop if you don't plan to do any gaming or 3D modeling work. I've even got one setup for my wife with additional RAM and a larger SSD for music production and photo editing.

**Q: would I be able to set this up to use it for recording a camera?Would I get a blue screen**
A: Yes you can. But the hard drive is relatively small.

**Q: Wifi and bluetooth integrated? not dongle or exterior adapter.**
A: Yes, WiFi and Bluetooth are integrated!

**Q: In addition to the nvme does this include an empty 2.5” hard drive bay or was that left out from factory?**
A: No HDD caddy. Available on ebay for a reasonable cost.

**Q: What ssd can i expect to be in these? i wish they were more transparent about that because the price can either be fair or not depending on that alone**
A: Everyone I've purchased has been extremely generic ones that I don't believe shipped with ones that came from HP.  I've had a few of them fail and have started buying new Samsung or other brands before deploying.

Won the refurb lottery with this one. Exterior was in near perfect condition with just a little sticker residue to clean up. Inside was extremely clean with no dust. CPU was as described. NVMe drive was a name brand (Samsung) with minimal usage and clean SMART. RAM came in 2x8GB and were different brands, but were both name brands (Samsung and Hynix) and matched specs. Had internal Intel Wi-Fi module, so no need for an external adapter. 3 DP ports, and came with a DVI to HDMI adapter. Fan is whisper quiet. No usability issues at all.

Very happy with it great price it came with a keyboard and a mouse which I don't remember seeing the advertisement which is a plus runs fast cool doing exactly what I wanted it to do serve as a server.
