    Very useful

This drain pan is wonderful, I can use it to drain oil, and then put the cap on it to easily and safely carry it to my used oil barrel without the risk of spilling the used oil. Like most professional mechanics I have used many types of drain pans over the years and this one make it easy to avoid making a mess. It is very low so it will fit into tight places and the funnel stores right in it, so it always stays neat and free of fumbling around. The only addition that I can think of that would make it better is if they had a storage place for the cap when it is removed, to prevent losing it.

    pleased

I considered writing straight to the company but figured public praise may lead to more units sold, which is probably better for them anyway. I've been searching for this for a long time. I had a blitz model years ago but **** canned it not long after because it leaked. I then tried depending on regular oil pans, but they were always either too cheaply made or leaked all over the place while pouring. I wanted to try the rhino gear variant, but it looked worse than the blitz, with the cap free spinning in the store. I ended up going with the rhino gear jug because I thought that was perfect, but it was a hair too tall to fit under my truck and the oil pan transfer, again, was just messy. I thought there had to be a better solution and just went looking for regular 1.5gal jugs in stores, but they were all too tall. Came here, and opted to give this company a shot, and wow, what a big difference. I did the water test and she's rock solid. Quality is what I expect, and I feel like this company takes pride in their product. I can't speak to the over-flow issue. I have a fumoto drain valve (not trying to plug them or anything) which makes this a non-issue due to a slower more controlled flow. Finally found a good piece of gear that I can have a quick, painless, and'messless' oil change!

and it seems to be fine, no leaks

I have not gotten to use this yet, but I have inspected it and it seems to be of decent quality, I blew into it to see if it was airtight, and it seems to be fine, no leaks.I did read where some mentioned if the oil drains too fast then the oil can splash out of the container, so I ordered a vent valve that should last through a couple of these containers, unless I decided to use a a 2 part epoxy like suggested, then the vent valve would be permanent. The Epoxy I'd suggest using on the valve is linked below.www.amazon.com/Gorilla-4200101-Epoxy/dp/B001Z3C3AG/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1449035274&sr=8-1Here is the vent valve I added to it, I put it in the most logical place, I did not use epoxy, and when I blow into the container a tiny bit of air does come out, so if you go this route do not fill the container up until the oil gets to the level of the valve, I don't think there will be any issues with it when transporting oil to wherever you take it to drop it off.https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B010EGPAE0/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
