Universal Internal Thread Repair Tool, 5/16 to 7/16", NES21

Had a cross threaded bolt on my tractor in an expensive cast section. This tool worked great to clean the threads and save me a ton of money.

The product looks well made and I believe it will do what they say it is supposed to. Unfortunately the sizing is a problem. I had a 3/4" bolt hole that needed to be cleaned out so I ordered this one that is sized for 11/16 to 13/16. They must mean the physical hole size and not the bolt size. This item was way too large to be used with my need. So I ordered the next two sizes smaller and hope one of them works. Whichever works I'll leave a review on that and return the other. When ordering these things remember to order one that will fit the physical dimensions of the bolt hole and not necessarily the size that matches the SAE size of the bolt.

Saved me hours of extra work. In 5 minutes it did the job. Should be part of any mechanic's tool box.

Great product. It fixed my damaged thread for my aluminum head in my engine. Very easy to use. However, it is a bit pricey.

I bought this to tap a few bolt holes in my engine that are 13/64 but the sleeve itself is as big as the 10mm bolt head WTF why they gotta make these stupid fractions so damn frustrating. I'm returning it

Order this for a 3/4 inch thread. Item states sizes are from 11/16-13/16. No where does it mention it’s only for 3/8-1/2 pipe thread. Had to go to company website to find that out.

This is supposed to work for Metric M8-M11, based on the packaging. It was too large to fit into the M8 hole, with the nylon tip on, which is highly recommended for soft taps, like aluminum.
