It not only tastes good, It also keeps your mouth moist.
This is the perfect sour candy for me. I take medication that makes my mouth severely dry and the candy causes constant salivation. I bought the candy hoping that it would serve this specific purpose, and it did not disappoint. Also, grape is one of my favorite flavors, so it tastes good. I also love that they’re individually wrapped. This makes it easier to share.

What happened to all the great sour hard candy of the 70s? Everything became chewy— Skittles, Haribo, Starburst etc.— but what I want is the intense flavors of the hard candies of yesteryear! These serve the purpose very well. Fun to have a retail display package— I thought it’d be a six month supply, but my husband has blasted through it in about five weeks, so next time I’ll hide the box and ration the individual rolls.;-) I wish they came in orange too— I feel like I can see this same brand in my mind’s eye with oranges on the label, but they don’t seem to exist. Somehow, they’re still wrapped in wax paper and a foil/paper tube— a nice reprieve from plastic. And DEEEEELICIOUS!

Sour grape but not too sour
I really like these candies they taste more like a Welches grape juice than the fake grape of most candies, slightly sour, but nothing extreme

Delivered in terribly poor condition
Delivered in poor condition. All the candies were extremely sticky and appeared to be wet or stored in a humid climate. All were totally inedible. I purchased a bag of individually wrapped ones and they too were all sticky and wet.

Don’t order so many all at ounce. They lost freshness.
I normally like grape but so many were sent in the heat it became gooey.

Nostslgic and close to original
This grape candy was my favorite growing up in the sixties and seventies. Although this remake is very close to how I remember it , it’s just not quite the same. Great taste! Buttttt original candy was darker in color-a bit stronger in taste and tartness-and the original formula had an almost waxy soft outer layer but the new candy is hard smooth and about the color of red grapes. I still love this candy and bought a carton of 25 rolls

Tasty candy
I, love this sweet and sour candy. Not overly sour, just the right touch for taste. This is second box. I will continue to buy. Please DO NOT DISCONTINUE THIS CANDY!!
