Yes, they will work on any surface you can screw into. I screwed them into wood, and they work like a charm.

What is the screw size? I would like to swap the metal screws out and use nylon screws (no rust)

Not sure of the screw size. You can switch out but the screws should not rust.

How do you know what size led lights you have

The light strip specifications should say but most are about the same width. All outdoor strips will be about the same and a little wider than indoor strips. All of the strips I've purchased are flexible and should be okay. Just don't clamp down on them too hard.

Will these work for 5mm LED lights? If not do you have them in the 5mm size
