Works well. Only negative is that the numbers waer off after about 6 months

Works. Easy to install. Easy to use, just click one button, which is my favorite feature. Other brand timers sometimes force you to click multiple times to set a run time of say 60 minutes. We checked, and the run time was even close to the time stated, not that an exact run time is important in my eyes.

Works great in sauna

I ordered two of these and they both work fine. The lights are all green color. The light on the vertical off button on the right side remains on continuously. All lights are very small and bright enough but not annoying. For me they are just right. This switch unit does NOT use a neutral wire, which is a big plus. So it will replace any standard switch, even with no neutral in the box. There are three wire leads, one for the hot/continuous power, one for the switched power to the device, and a ground. The leads are about 6 inches long and it comes with wire nuts. The unit fit nicely in my box and it is not too large. I think it would fit fine in any standard box. The ivory color on this cooper switch matched the ivory Leviton brand toggle switch next to it perfectly. FYI I have this wired to a motorized duct damper in the bathroom HVAC duct in the attic which is 115 volt powered closed, and springs open when not powered, so I can close the air conditioner vent over my tub when I shower. Very happy with the whole set up.

Pros... - Multiple colors - No neutral required - Easy to install - Timers are accurate - Looks nicer than expected Cons... - When installed it needs to be perfectly flush with your face plate. Anything other than light pressure on the sides of the switch from the faceplate will cause the buttons to stick or not work at all. This seems like a design flaw to me as the front of the switch seems to shift a bit with pressure instead of being a solid unit. Overall it was annoying more than anything. Note that I have a GE switch that is similar and is totally solid... just didn't come in the color I needed so I went with this one. I'd recommend the GE switch over this as it's a nicer unit and cheaper, but it only comes in white. Example of my issue above: switch was not perfectly flush, maybe a mm lower on the left side (hardly noticeable, honestly). When I put on the faceplate and screwed it down with even moderate pressure, the 30 and 60 min buttons would not work as they were jammed/stuck in place. If i took all the pressure off of the screws and let the faceplate float, they would work. I ended up jimmying it around quite a bit and loosing the screws anchoring the switch to the box so the switch was floating. Still ended up having to shim the bottom and keep the faceplate screw loose on the bottom to ensure the 60 minute button would be clickable AND trigger off when the time was up.

Easy installation

I live in an older house with a lot of ungrounded (2 prong only) outlets and wiring. This timer switch did not work on an ungrounded circuit. I thought maybe it was just a defective switch and ordered a replacement, which also didn't work. Then I tried connecting the ground manually to a separate circuit, just to test, and sure enough, then it worked. I would think this is a code violation -- the ground should only be used to protect against shorting and shocks to humans or the internals of the device. It should NOT be needed to complete an electric circuit for the timer. In any case, because this was the only decent black timer I could find, and really needed that color to match the room where this went, I re-ran the wiring in the wall to add a ground to the circuit, and it now works fine. I'm still skeptical that it uses the ground to complete the circuit to power the timer, but it does work when configured that way.

When I originally installed this for the fan in my bathroom, the fan turned on after I turned on the power, and none of the buttons did anything, so it was always on. I thought it might have been broken or the fan too large for the switch to power it, but I got a solution from another reviewer that I'm now signal-boosting. If you run into this problem and don't have a neutral wire in your box, just connect the neutral (white capped) wire on the switch to the two ground wires (the switch one and the wall one) in the wire cap, so that all 3 are connected together. This fixed the issue, and the switch now works great.

Bought 2. One is fine, the other one doesn't work on 60min setting. Disappointing but not worth the effort of replacing, which makes it frustrating as it should have left the factory in full working order.

Got this for the ceiling fan and so far so good. Unfortunately, I couldn't find one that matches in color...
