This is an Amazing Kit for a 6 year old.
This is a brilliant kit for learning the very basics of circuitry. There so many different combinations of the elements that can be used toake different sounds, to make the lights brighter or darker. It's easy for a 6 year old to use as well. The pieces are a good size and are strong/durable too. We brought this as my 6 year old has always been into building things and understanding how things work mechanically. Recentlyhe has started asking about motors for his crafts so they can have moving parts, and this kit has satisfied this curiosity, in a super safe way. It's extremely good value for money and so much fun.I'm short, I cannot speak highly enough of this. I highly recommend it!

Great set
Bought this for my 7 year old. Showed an interest in how things work so thought I would bit for him. Easy to use, instructions and how to make circuits, easy to follow. He prefers hands on learning and enjoys playing with this kit. Easy for little hands to place and pull apart. Doesn't feel fragile, nice and sturdy and I'm not worried he will break something! For the little ones into science, it's a fantastic little set. Would buy more sets like this, really impressed with quality for the price.

Brilliant STEM kit for beginners!
Excellent STEM kit for kids who enjoy building and experimenting. Plenty to do and educational without feeling boring. Instructions are clear and everything is simple to put together. Wish I had bought two sets, my son wanted to experiment with more complicated builds!

Great educational toy
A great educational toy for learning basic electronics. My 5 year old twins love this, they work together and put circuits together and also experiment. Highly recommended

Great kit, but a bit limited
My 6yo has had a lot of fun with this kit, learning the basics of how to connect basic circuits (including AND, NOT, OR functions), different types of switches (and making the propellor disc fly!) In general the quality is good and the pieces seem durable, but unfortunately the reed switch never worked. My one criticism is that most of the 188 circuits are basically variations swapping out switch types, and a lot of the circuits rely on the three "integrated circuit" modules, without any explanation of what they work (how they cycle through sounds etc) so it's hard to explain to a kid how those circuits actually work. Also the sounds from the sound module are super loud and annoying. But it's good fun and comparable value to other science kids we've enjoyed.

Excellent
This is brilliant. My reception class son (who loves anything to do with science and making things) loves this. We started building the circuits together, working through the very clearly explained work book and within no time he was off on his own, no just following the examples but making up his own circuits.Well made, robust and intuitive, it's a brilliant way for kids to learn. Would 100% recommend and will be buying as my go to birthday present for his mates for the foreseeable future.

"Best gift ever"
Item was brought as a gift for 5yr old girl. She's been enjoying playing with it since she received it and there's so many different activities to do with it. Unfortunately there was a part that wasn't working. I contacted the seller directly asking if a replacement part could be sent and they did. It's all working now. Thank you so much. Definitely recommend item and seller. "Best gift ever".

Science made fun!
My grandchildren absolutely love this. The 7 year old follows the instructions for various experiments and the 4 year old joins in the fun of testing the results. The quality is fantastic, the press studs can be a bit tough for little fingers and it requires adult supervision, partly as it has voltage but mostly as the parts need to be placed carefully. It comes with everything to make light, sound and action experiments. A big colourful book of clearly explained instructions for each experiment. If you get through the book you can then begin designing your own ideas so this has endless possibilities. It’s scientific, educational, it aids in following and reading instructions, and the results are good fun.

Doesn’t work like it should
Bought for my son’s birthday and the helicopter part didn’t take off and had a hard time getting the battery door open to even out batteries in it. It’s cool but sucks that his one present he wanted so bad doesn’t even work
