Compatible with the following Wilderness Systems models: • Tsunami - 2013 or later (excluding Tsunami SP) • Zephyr - 2013 or later **Q: Will this fit an older Tempest165? If not, what would you recommend?** A: It will fit a Wilderness Systems Phase 3 seat. I installed it in my 2014 Tsunami 175 replacing the backband because of lower back issues. It will fit and Wilderness Systems kayak with a Phase 3 seat. Be aware the instructions are a little sketchy but you will have no trouble once you reason out the seat adjustment. It also makes the cockpit a few inches shorter. Made a difference for me as I am 6'3 235... took a few trips to adjust getting in and out of my boat. **Q: I got this seatback today and assembled it. the bungies pull the back to the top of the riser. if i wanted to adjust it to halfway, how do i lock it?** A: If you put it together right, the pull cord between your legs under the seat should be able to get pulled and lower or raise the seat to the desired height. **Q: Will this seatfold flat to alow the cockpit cover to go on** A: Yes. The seatback will fold down far enough to allow a cockpit cover to be installed. ## Frequently Bought Together - Wilderness Systems Phase 3 AirPro Kayak Seatback Kit - One Size - Black - Wilderness Systems Pungo Dashboard | Kayak Dashboard with Dry Storage| Console for Pungo Kayaks, Gray - Wilderness Systems TrueFit Cockpit Cover - for Tempest, Tsunami and Other Sit-Inside Kayaks - W8, Grey --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.dk/products/23725521-wilderness-systems-phase-3-airpro-kayak-seatback-kit](https://www.desertcart.dk/products/23725521-wilderness-systems-phase-3-airpro-kayak-seatback-kit) --- *Product available on Desertcart Denmark* *Store origin: DK* *Last updated: 2026-10-12*
