We bought the brio smart tech set last year for Christmas and the train is starting to get tired. It’s great that there is a replacement train. My son loves this train and the full set is awesome!

We initially loved this train which was purchased for my two year old grandson. After a few months of play the train stopped working properly. It operates on the tracks as normal but stops at each and every interactive item such as tunnels and arches. It does not make sounds anymore or record sound. This item was very expensive and we expected many more years of play from a company such as Brio. I am very disappointed in this item. Now we have a handful of interactive train accessories that do not operate as intended. Waste of money.

My grandson has been enjoying hours with the toys (and so has his parents!) Bought another Smart Tech piece. Unfortunately the motor on that one was broken. Returning item now but had to ship to England so still waiting to get credit for that. We had to pay the shipping and will get back about 75% of the cost.

We’ve had this train for about a year now and my four and five year olds (a boy and a girl) both love it. There are mixed reviews out there because people don’t read the instructions. Download the app and update the train first to load the sounds and movements on it. Then - voilá it works great with all the smart tech pieces. My kids love driving it through the app. You can change the headlight color and record your own sounds. Granted, they like to record fart noises and just say butt over and over on it but still it’s very much enjoyed. Be sure to hold the button down to power on and off. It’s not a quick press. If it isn’t functioning properly consider the batteries. The headlights turn red when they’re low. The engine could be a little stronger but it can pull three or four cars up an incline which is plenty for my kids. It stays on course fairly well too despite three or four different brands of track we use. Definitely a fun buy that has kept their interest longer than I thought. They get bored of playing trains but keep playing because they think recording the sounds is so funny.

This train has cool features and customization options but I would not buy it again. After getting it for my 4 year old for Christmas it has seen heavy play use, requiring new batteries almost weekly (annoying and wasteful), and it has now broken and no longer works (also wasteful). Would not recommend.

Bought because it’s the only train that’s compatible with the repair station my son got as a gift. It’s very high tech and you have to download an app to turn it on and use the first time. You can customize the color of the lights and record your voice on it, but I could never get it to interact to the station we bought it for. It’s very high tech, but for my 4 year old’s purposes, he plays with it the same way as his other battery operated trains. Definitely expensive for what it is.

The train is cute and works well with app, but it has never registered the tunnel that came with it, so the sound doesn’t play when the train runs through it. Not sure what the issue is, but it was disappointing, especially considering the high price for this item. We previously purchased another sound tunnel in a different set and the train registers that one so I supposed we just got a broken one in this set. After reading some reviews, this seems to be a common occurrence.

誕生日プレゼントとして4歳の子供に購入しました。ライトが付くので部屋を暗くして走らせていると「夜に見た火の鳥 列車みたい」と大喜び。録音したメッセージもサプライズとして大活躍でした。

You can say something in the microphone and then every time the train rides through the thing it will repeat just what you said, fun for five times and then no kid has any more interest in it, so don't waste you money, better give it a away to the poor.

Arrivato oggi puntuale il treno si presenta di ottima fattura,si tocca con mano la indiscussa qualitá del costosissimo prodotto e da subito si può notare che non è come gli altri treni sound e light della stessa categoria Qui abbiamo molteplici possibilitá,svariati suoni preregistrati di un'ottima qualitá audio,possibilitá di registrare qualsiasi audio ci venga in mente con risultati eccezionali!!Adesso però viene il bello,con una semplice app scaricabile gratuitamente da PlayStore abbiamo la possibilitá di muovere il treno,cambiare il colore delle luci,registrare gli audio e farlo replicare con la stessa.Abbiamo un ponticello smart che al passaggio del treno fa replicare anch'esso ciò che registriamo, insomma....una valanga di interazioni che unite alla fantasia del bambino possono dare vita ad un gioco pressocchè infinito!!!Trovo i prodotti brio troppo costosi in tutta la sua linea,ma va anche detto,come in questo caso,che LI VALE FINO ALL'ULTIMO CENTESIMO!!!Nessun trenino giocattolo fa o somiglia vagamente a questo!!NOTA DOLENTE: Ci si aspetta che dopo aver speso 40€ la confezione fosse corredata di pile(2 ministilo),ma evidentemente l'azienda ha il braccino corto!Occhio cmnq alle pile che con una sessione intensa di gioco,magari attaccando 20 vagoni al seguito come si diverte mio figlio,Tanti suoni,tante salite etc..dopo circa 3/4 ore si devono cambiare.Penso che si possano usare tranquillamente anche le ricaricabili,ma devo ancora averne la certezza.Vedremo con il tempo anche se resiste ai baby test,cadute,lanci etc....Per adesso vi dico: STRACONSIGLIATISSIMO SE VOSTRO FIGLIO AMA I TRENINI e magari corredatelo con una pista di binari in legno o tutto ció con cui può farlo interagire.FANTASTICO!!
