Motherlove Diaper Balm (4 oz) Organic Herbal Diaper Rash Cream—Cloth diaper Safe, Zinc Oxide- & Petroleum-Free

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I have to give credit where credit is due. For the last 3 months I’ve been battling a horrible bout of topical steroid withdrawals after using a steroid cream. It’s affected my fingers pretty bad. I saw a dermatologist and she said a number of things- dermatitis, dyshidrotic eczema, fungal and bacterial infected. My fingers were oozing, burning, peeling and itching! But I was too scared to try the prescribed medications. They all have scary side effects- plus I try to go the natural route as much as possible. Also a huge believer that God is my healer. I’ve tried all kinds of creams, balms, you name it- none of them did anything significant. Someone I recently met recommended the nipple cream, but after reading the ingredients I knew it wouldn’t do much because I’ve tried products with the same stuff. This diaper balm was the only thing that had different ingredients than most of the stuff out there. I looked up each ingredient and they all have antibacterial, anti fungal, anti-inflammatory healing properties with promising results. After just 1 day of using this balm, there was a huge difference. The redness, oozing and inflammation went down by 60%! After just 3 days, the redness and itching is almost completely gone, and there is no more oozing! New skin is growing! I thank God for this product and the natural resources that he created to help us heal!

We used the maty’s multipurpose ointment and absolutely loved it. I was so bummed to learn they went out of business with no way of buying more to replace my recently finished jar. I tried the earth mama balm and this one and I’m happy to say this is very close to the Maty’s one. It doesn’t have a fragrance (earth mama smells strongly of tea tree), it’s a solid but melts almost immediately once scooped and applied, it’s gentle and safe for sensitive skins, and has ingredients you can actually identify and not a bunch of chemicals. I love the tub format versus tube as it makes it so easy to scoop the amount of product you need and you can use all of the product (tubes are notorious for being hard to squeeze product once close to the end). I’ve been using now for a little over a week on my baby with zero irritation or problems! Happy to make this my new favorite diaper balm!

I bought this for my 4 yr old daughter who seems to constantly get a red sore vagina. (not yeast or infection) Other than helping her practice good hygiene (changing underwear daily, washing regularly, Avoiding soaps or scents that might irritate) taking probiotics and making sure she's drinking plenty of water, I use this for her and it seems to help keep her healthy while not disrupting the natural microbiome. I really wanted something very clean that could be used frequently and this is great. I ordered the badger cream with more zinc for times that it gets too irritated and that also has been great! She's had way fewer times of experiencing redness or soreness so this plus good hygiene practice has helped a lot. Also, I took this on vacation recently and while out I had a small patch of Perioral dermatitis pop up around my mouth. For me it gets insanely itchy and dry. So annoying. Sometimes it's hormones (especially in pregnancy) and sometimes it's something external I used or a toothpaste (which I did take something new on the trip and quit using right away). I didn't have my normal stuff I use on the spot so I tried a dab of this and it was almost immediately soothing. By the evening to morning the spot had cleared up. It usually takes much longer than that. So maybe I just found my new favorite thing for those annoying spots when they pop up! ~ Stephanie

My newborn had some redness that wasn’t clearing up with other brands of diaper creams. After 2 applications of this, the redness was gone! It’s easy to apply and doesn’t leave your skin feeling greasy or smelly after you wash it off, which I appreciate. Love that it’s made with clean, natural ingredients. Also love that it’s safe for cloth diapers! We are using disposables now but may switch to cloth eventually and that’s nice to know.

Love this non toxic option for everyday use! It does get a little melty in the heat but not unusable and it hasn’t leaked! Keeps my baby from any diaper irritation

Love this formula. I bought this to replace my prescription 2% ketoconazole cream as I wanted a natural approach and knew it existed. This is it! I also got some yarrow to add in case I needed this formula to be a bit stronger, so far I haven't needed to add any. I use this on my face and it doesn't clog pores, cause breakouts, etc. It creates a nice protective barrier and is antifungal amonst it's other properties. Great for sebboric dermatitis sufferers. I first bought the 1oz jar to try, and then purchased the 4oz jar to save money per ounce. While I do see that it is stated that the 4oz comes in plastic, it's still disappointing as properly packaging it, just like the 1oz glass jars, would prevent damage/breaking during transit. I transferred the 4oz to a glass jar I purchased separately. I recognize Amazon prompted this, and probably to simply save themselves costs in shipping and blamed it on reducing broken items. The 4oz jar is not much larger than the 1 oz and wouldve fit in the same box the 1oz was shipped in and would've arrived fine with the same care the 1oz was packaged with. I won't take this out on the brand though. This formula deserves 5 stars. Will definitely repurchase again.

Love this product because it has clean ingredients, not medicated. God choice for minor irritation and rashes. No smell, not irritating. 1oz is crazy tho… I wonder if it would be better to make a similar infusion at home

We use this balm whenever my son has any type of redness in the diaper region. Use it overnight and the redness is gone in the morning! Super natural and pleasant neutral scent.

I have not used anything else on my newborn who is almost 4 weeks, he has had no nappy rash and it also works really well on dry skin in the creases where you don’t want to end up with cracked skin. My midwife was really impressed with it also! Definitely worth the money and I will continue to buy! Amazing stuff gentle to skin

Love this stuff! My little guy has always been sensitive, and prone to redness in the diaper area. It took about a week of use to see results, and now we can’t live without it. He is 2 years old and potty trained, but for nighttime he still wears a diaper, and this stuff is awesome. It is also reassuring that it’s clean and pure. Worth the money if you value quality.

Among other cream I used for my baby's rashes, this absolutely works. Since I use it, my baby never experience rashes at all. Been months of using it.
