What comes in the box?

The stainless chopping and mixing blade, a dough blade, a stainless shredding disc, a 4mm standard slicing disc, a 2mm thin slicing disc, the detachable stem, small and large pushers, and a spatula.

How does clean-up work?

Every removable part is BPA-free and top-rack dishwasher safe, and the brushed base wipes down. Hand-washing discs and blades keeps the edges at their best longest.

Who is this processor best for?

Cooks who slice with intent, gratins at 2mm, slaws at 4mm, at batch scale.

Do I need a separate dough blade?

No, the universal blade doubles as a dough blade. Start the machine first, then pour liquid in a slow, steady stream through the food chute so the flour absorbs it evenly. There is a dough blade sold separately if you prefer.

What's the best way to make soups, sauces, and dressings?

Start the motor first, then pour liquid in a steady stream through the food chute so ingredients absorb as they blend. The 14-cup bowl takes up to about 6 cups of thick mixtures or 3 cups of thin liquids.
