Just what I needed! I have had a peculiar predicament with attaching any headboard to the unconventional metal bed frame-box spring. The bed frame has 1 hole on each side, enough to make it work. The headboard was too wide, so this adapter was perfect!

These were easy to install. They work perfectly to attach the headboard I inherited from my grandmother to a queen size bed frame!

This is a great product, although it was not the right product for my project. It was my mistake, but I was able to modify it to make it work.

Heavy Duty is a good description for this bed frame adapter. It worked for my application but I could have used something smaller.

To start off I wish they came with instructions. There are so many ways to attach the brackets. It took me 10 minutes to figure out which way was the best fit for my bed. The screws and nut only fit the bracket. Instead of send four long screws and four short they should have just sent eight long. I have to purchase more long screws to secure my frame to the headboard. It should not have taken me over 30 minutes to complete the task but it did.

These brackets allowed us to successfully install our brass headboard. Only time will tell if there are any problems with durability.

We used this to adapt an old queen headboard to a fairly-old double-bed frame. It could not have worked better! The design is simple, but has plenty of adjustment room and feels like very high quality - thick metal. The included hardware was also nice, but be aware that there were not enough bolts to cover both the frame and the headboard attachments. For us, and I assume for most people, it's not a problem because there would be some leftover hardware from the previous installation.

I've ordered this kit twice now. The first time, it came with everything I needed to set it up. Plates, bolts, washers. All you needed was a #2 philips head screwdriver. The first time, it went together easy enough. A little tricky to get the plates square, but having them square isn't necessary for it to be sturdy, just for it to look good. My headboard mounted perfectly. But when I bought a second kit to mount my footboard, it came with just the plates. No screws, no washers. This means it's effectively useless, since even if you're able to re-use some of the screws from your existing headboard & footboard (not a sure thing, and not possible on my case), that still leaves you about four screws & washers short of being able to mount anything (you need a total of 8 screws and washers). I cannot recommend any product that comes without critical pieces.
