These are garbage. The first one out of the package barely worked for five minutes before it was dead. The second one barely worked as well and they don't have much ink in these refills. Thought I would save some money and use these refills and they are absolute garbage. Do not buy. Unfortunately, I bought these before I needed to use them and by the time I tried to return them, the 30 day window had expired so I was stuck with them. I repeat, DO NOT BUY. Spend a little bit more money and get better quality refills.

This refill works in my Selectip 2 like any Cross 8523 refill, but because of the slope of the metal transition from the ink reservoir to the tip, it also fits in my 50 year old Cross felt tip pen, now with a rollerball tip. The Cross 8523 will not fit. Hurray.

Better body than Cross refills which have went to plastic. Ink not quite as smooth flowing so some skipping is noted. May be different depending upon writing style and paper.

Fits exactly like original. Skips when writing.

These refills are terrible. I have to constantly shake my pen to get the ink to flow properly. As I'm writing I have to either press hard or else the ink just stops and I have to go over what I've written making it super messy. Dries quickly
