Gnats constantly trying to fly up my nose!!!! The plant is in my bedroom, I literally had to cover my nose with my sheet to sleep 😡finally I got the sand because I saw reviews, OMG it works!!! I would water the plant first, otherwise some of the sand just filters down into the soil—— put a GOOD layer of soil, totally covering every square inch of your plant, I put a clear dish of water added some dish soap to the water , stirred it, put it next to my plant, I have been doing the water and dish soap since I started with the gnat problem, my dish was loaded with them constantly, after putting the sand on my plants soil, I have gnats in my dish soap bowl but NO GNATS in my plant, none flying around, I’m going to change the dish soap water , I’m expecting to not see any in there any more, I’ll do a follow up, but OMG, I am SO thankful to see the BUGGERHEADS gone!!! Thank you dear sweet Jesus!!!!! The gnats like moisture, that’s why they also went to the water dish soap bowl, they get their wings slippery wet from the soap, they can’t fly out of it, I am beyond thrilled to not having gnats fly at my face , trying to fly up my nose!!!! Review: Works great for gnats - I was honestly struggling so much with those annoying little bugs flying around my pots. Nothing seemed to work until I finally gave this a shot. It cleared everything up way faster than I expected. I am so relieved that my plants are finally gnat-free. You should definitely try this if you are dealing with the same issue. ## Features - Improves the look of house plants by Covering soil. - Suitable for decorative use in clear vases, dish gardens and terrariums. - Improves water drainage. - Loosen heavy or compacted soil. - Convenient size is easy to carry and work with. - White sand soil cover - Helps protect and retain moisture - Adds a great look to all potted plants terrariums and indoor gardens - Especially attractive with succulents and in rock gardens - This product contents 1.5 quarts in volume and is 5 pounds by weight ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B000QGNUVY | | Best Sellers Rank | #5,478 in Patio, Lawn & Garden ( See Top 100 in Patio, Lawn & Garden ) #93 in Garden Soil | | Brand | Mosser Lee | | Brand Name | Mosser Lee | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 1,480 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00799331112772 | | Included Components | White Sand Soil Cover, 5 lb. | | Item Type Name | Mosser Lee ML1111 White Sand Soil Cover, 5 lb. | | Item Weight | 5 pounds | | Manufacturer | Mosser Lee Company | | Manufacturer Part Number | 1111 | | Manufacturer Warranty Description | Warranty | | Model Number | 1111 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Style | Soil Cover | | Style Name | Soil Cover | | UPC | 799331112772 010367011113 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Volume | 1.5 quarts | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Mosser Lee - **Global Trade Identification Number:** 00799331112772 - **Item Weight:** 5 pounds - **Style:** Soil Cover - **UPC:** 799331112772 010367011113 ## Images ![Mosser Lee ML1111 White Sand Soil Cover, 5 lb. - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81yj6FvJwbL.jpg) ![Mosser Lee ML1111 White Sand Soil Cover, 5 lb. - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81MN-GVWNBL.jpg) ![Mosser Lee ML1111 White Sand Soil Cover, 5 lb. - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61eADyn3q-L.jpg) ![Mosser Lee ML1111 White Sand Soil Cover, 5 lb. - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61rXuAUs2PL.jpg) ![Mosser Lee ML1111 White Sand Soil Cover, 5 lb. - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71brxRggPzL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Bye Bye GNATS 😃 *by J***S on July 16, 2026* If you are dealing with gnats in your house plants, GET this sand, I have been going crazy, using neem oil, everything!!!!
