Can I paint my patio with this paint?

Better getting a polyurethane paint for the patio. It's harder wearing. I don't think this masonry paint would last very long what with walking on it

Can this be watered down to use as a primer for first coat? Or do I need a separate primer

The product is water based and so in theory yes but do you need to ? You have to give whatever your painting too coats anyway and personally I've never had a problem with two coats but always give an extra one anyway especially if it is a hard to reach place. I can't think what could be so porous that you would need to water it down. I have used it over previously painted surfaces, unpainted blocks, unpainted brick and cured cement with no problems
