Sprayed WD-40 into key hole but didn’t help. Online video from therma tru showed how to remove thumb turn and key cylinder from door, but they don’t sell the parts online. Instead they encourage you to contact the local authorized installer.Therma tru’s multipoint lock system key cylinder length is 2-1/2” whereas prime line K5062 is 2-3/8”. Also thumb turn comes off from therma tru’s original cylinder but K5062 comes attached together (found out later thumb turn of K5062 can also be separated with allen wrench). Despite these differences, I took a chance on K5062 which cost only $18.70 including tax and shipping, item arrived next day. Therma tru online store require 14 biz days to process your order, moreover they don’t even carry this simple replacement parts, and they seem to want you to schedule an appointment with their installer.It’s very important not to discard your old screw that held the cylinder onto your door, as the one that comes with K5062 is too short.$18.70 and 3 minutes of my time is all it took. Saved few hundred dollars, weeks, and the hassle of calling up an installer who might talk you into replacing the entire door or the entire multiple lock system. Philipps screwdriver (plus), paper clip, 3/32 allen wrench are the tools I needed to remove the original thumb turn and cylinder from my therma tru fiberglass multi locking system door. Phillips screwdriver (plus) is the only tool I needed to install K5062.Fits and works perfect, and am very happy.
