This was much cheaper than ordering through the alarm company. It was easy enough to install myself with a little bit of clarification at the hardware store on what extra piece of white wire I needed to get. Works perfectly and allows us to set the porch light on a timer or have it programmed to go on when other events happen such as a window is broken. I would love to add this ability to other light switches or devices in our home at some point. The only question I have is about having it with a certain number of feet from the wifi unit. Fortunately, our light switch this time was close enough, but others won't be. I would love to hear comments on how others managed to program their switches if their modem was further away. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great products and even better service *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on August 15, 2018* This purchase was my first home automation purchase and there have been many since. I have an ADT Pulse system and Jasco products are of few brands that are compatible with the system. I've since switched to a Harmony/Logitech system, but all devices transitioned and worked great. In 3 years, I've had one switch recently fail. I contacted Jasco support and the interaction was refreshing to say the least. No chatbots, phone trees or roadblocks to get to someone that could help. They were quick to respond (same day) and provide options. At the end of they day, they provided better support and options than what I would ever expected. I'm a loyal fan. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy peasy. *by S***A on Reviewed in the United States on September 27, 2016* This product works with ADT Pulse. The switch is huge and it is challenge to fit it into older junction boxes.My junction box did not have a neutral wire, so a neutral wire was pig tailed at the light fixture's junction box and fished into the switch's junction box. There is also a screw for a ground cable, which can be fastened onto the junction box. The hot wires can be taken from the old switch.
