Thanks!!!** A: 215 can’t do AC, only DC but the 220 can do AC and DC, 215 won’t weld aluminum or magnesium **Q: How does this compare to an esab rebel 205ic acdc?** A: Similar specs, I think the Miller has a slightly higher output, 210A vs Esab's 205A. The Esab has a larger display, but I think Miller's is easier to navigate. The Esab has an illuminated welding bay, which really makes it easy (not that it's hard without the light) to change spools. With the Miller, however, there's no need to swap drive rolls. The Miller has "Auto-Set" which functions with all modes of welding, ie TIG, MIG, and Stick, the Esab has sMIG which only functions for MIG welding. The miller does have a better warranty, but Esabs don't break down. It's probably too late to help you, but maybe someone else will find the info useful. :D **Q: How big of a spool will this hold?** A: The largest spool this unit will hold is an 8" spool (10 lb, 11 lb or 12.5 lb spools). **Q: Is this a two phase or three phase power source?** A: One-phase power. (Domestic power is either 1-phase or 3-phase. Whether you're on a 110 or 220V household circuit, it's 1-phase. I know that to many folks 220V seems like it should be called 2-phase, but that's not actually true or correct.
