Great shower brush. Bristles are just right-not too stiff nor too soft. Perfect handle length and easy to hold on to in the shower. I put a cable tie loop through the hole at end of the handle to hand on the shower faucet knob which worked better than the little string loop that came with it.

After reading some of the other reviews I decided to take a chance and buy this brush. My previous back brush had fairly stiff bristles and using it felt pretty abrasive, especially toward my sides. This brush has enough stiffness to feel stimulating when applying light pressure, but when you increase the handle pressure the outer rows spread out, and rub the softer bristles on your skin. By varying the handle pressure you get a foaming and scrubbing combination that works well in the shower. The handle length is perfect for me at 5”10” and the curve is just right to match the back’s curve so you don’t miss any areas. The silicone grip works well to prevent slipping when wet. I picked a lighter color to conceal any hard water deposits in the future. The only down-side for me is that it’s ANOTHER item manufactured in China, but I’m keeping it.

The body scrubber I bought at CVS was basically a Brillo pad that snapped in half the day I got it lol so here I am. This is genuinely soft & gentle, but will still exfoliate & clean. I like it! Buuut, the brush already looks sort of frayed or like little strands will come out:/ will update if they do. Also curved. & has silicone wrap for hands so you won’t hurt if you have hand issues like me (healthcare worker) from trying to hold it while soapy and not have it slip out of ur hands. Paid: $10. Worth: $6ish

Mother bear firmness of the bristles

This is a nice back brush but the handle is cylindrical and very thick at the end where ud place ur hand. It is hard to grip bc of that factor. I am 5"9' so I have a larger hand but I struggle keeping a good grip on it while wet and soapy. It is a bit heavy and turns in my hand causing the brush to face away from my back. I have to readjust my grip often. Not the best, especially if u have any hand muscle/tendon issues. Poor design of the handle. I don't recommend.

My sister sent this to me as a lark after I was complaining about not being able to clean my back. I am happy enough with it I turned around and sent her one of her own. When it arrived I thought the bristles were too soft because I have very dry skin and I have a lot of tabs on my back. I would scrape off the ones I could reach, but that wasn't anywhere near most of my back. But with the angled head I was able to reach most of my back with vigor. I also found it very useful in scrubbing the tops, sides and ankles because I am older and can't reliably reach those areas. So after about a week of use I found my back much smoother in the areas I could reach and my feet were pretty much clear of any dry skin build up. I think the bristles won't get rid of everything in one go, but over time definitely make a difference. The only complaint I have is I wish it was about 4" longer because then I could reach all of my back reliably. I have bought another brush that is longer, but it is straight so it doesn't work as well, I am hoping I can apply some heat to the handle and put a bend similar to this one on it and see how that works.

This just might be my favorite back brush. I've gone through a couple that were either too scratchy or too soft. This one has a big head and the scratch factor is perfect. I did add a rope to hang from my shower hook. Already looking forward to my next shower!
