Mod Podge Professional Decoupage Tool Set, 2295

Just what I wanted at just the right price! I'm doing some craft work with younger art students to vary what we do and give them more to take home than a drawing, and they love the idea. Their mini-drawings are going to be preserved on treasure boxes (they're all girls), and they all have it planned out what they'll be used for. The brayer is, in some cases, being used on curved surfaces and is just the right size. It's easily washable and presses the drawings down flat, getting all the air bubbles out. The squeegee is perfect for getting into corners, but it's also great for curved surfaces. BTW, I recommend that these Mod Podge products be used with original Mod Podge Gloss, especially if you're working with young children, and you don't want to use any finish with harmful fumes. Mod Podge Gloss is water based so it's perfect for these tools that are essential for decoupage and work just right.

I can't live with out these tools, I don't know how I managed without. My projects look so much better and dare I say professional. Well, maybe not professional, but that's because I'm an amateur, but the tools are fantastic and have made my mod podging frustrations dissipate. I use them almost daily and they are holding up beautifully. Super easy to keep clean during your podging project, I just keep some lint free rags (or a pile depending on the size of my project) next to me to wipe excess off immediately. I've left both out overnight without cleaning, next day all I did was soak it in some soapy water for a while and used a scrubby sponge and it was clean and ready to go. Happy Crafting!!!

Used it, wonderful, I thought it'd be better to take out the little bumps and air bubbles but it does warn about using a pin for air bubbles and being super careful about laying it down, just thought this would make it a little easier. It is easier on fine tissue paper that can't be fixed into place with a credit card type object, because it'd tear. This doesn't tear it. It works awesome except for what I mentioned. Nothing is perfection eh?

If you like to decouoage, this tool (brayer) is a must! Simply use it once you’ve applied your paper, tissue or material, place a piece of Saran Wrap and use this tool to assure great adhesion on removal of bubbles. It works great! Simple idea but much needed!

I bought this at a wonderful price from Amazon when it popped up "you might also like" after buying some Modge Podge. I thought - what the heck? I don't have a brayer and the scraper/squeegee tool might be useful. This may sound silly, but I was amazed! The brayer and squeegee were incredibly helpful tools on a decoupage project - easy to use even for a beginner like me. Then I realized all the other uses for the brayer and it's a permanent tool in my crafting arsenal. I use it to smooth paper onto my Silhouette mats, smooth out projects I've adhered with various adhesives, and to ink up embossing pads. I was looking into getting a brayer and was a little overwhelmed by the selection and price. The squeegee is useful for vinyl craft when burnishing during the transfer and adhere process. Way better than a credit card! I'm glad I bought this set. Great up-sell, Amazon ;)

These two tools have been so helpful with my crafting. Not only are they *great* for keeping Mod Podge projects smoothed out, they work fantastically for self-adhesive contact paper application. I use contact paper (shelfing liner) a LOT in my crafting and the little squeegie like tool that comes with the roller has been invaluable to me. It's great for smoothing out little air pockets as I apply contact paper, and even the roller has come in handy when doing large projects with contact paper. Both are also great for applying very wide Washi Tape. So get these tools if you are a crafter of many things... they aren't just for Mod Podge!

Here are a few samples of using Ranger Distress Oxide Ink pads with a GEL Press. Quick and easy. Press the ink pads directly onto the Gel Press with whatever colors you chose, in whatever shapes you want. To clean the brayer, I ran it over a clean piece of cardstock a few times. I can use those as backgrounds for my cards. It only took me 5 minutes to have 10 letter-size cardstock pages inked up. I can always add water to the oxide inks to change them up later. These have been cut to 5.5 x 8.5 Inc's.

Its a very good item.

Handy dandy for modging fabric to furniture and the like gets those pesky bubbles and folds gone.

Crap Chinese quality. I had a high expectations after seeing so many positive review, but man.. What a let down! This thing is so cheap, and poorly made that it can hold a badge "professional" :D please stop offending meaning of that word. The roller is so uneven and when you place it on perfectly flat surface you will see light bleeding between roller and that surface, and because this is a fake roller (yes I though it's made of thick rubber) empt plastic tube with just 1.5 mm of rubber around how can this garbage eliminate such inequalities of uneven roller? For precise work like photo transfer to wood it's impossible to work with. The handle is fragile thin plastic which squeake every time you try to push it harder.. I just ruined my project because I had bubbles everywhere. Too bad the package was 1 time use its completely teared apart otherwise I would just return that garbage. You better buy some roller for gluing wallpaper as they are solid rubber with metal bracket.
